Wings of Fire Oneshots!

Glorybringer

Glory had tried to sneak off before. Every time, she had failed. For some reason, every time she tried to escape, someone would try to attack her! And of course, Deathbringer would save her.

This time though, she was on full alert and had a bag of sleeping darts tied around her neck. Glory had made sure to stay camouflaged and made NO SOUND as she slipped away from her hut from the window.

Glory turned around to see if Deathbringer has spotted her. Luckily, he hasn't, so the RainWing Queen tiptoed herself away. She usually went to see her friends when she escaped. Well, tried to escape. Deathbringer literally gave her a good FORTY MINUTE LECTURE about not sneaking off.

This time though, Glory went to her hiding place. A little area with a cave behind a waterfall. Bushes and trees circled around it, so the inside of her hiding place is just grass, rock, and water. Glory made a rock line as a path to find it whenever she wanted without getting lost. Sometimes, fireflies and glowbugs surrounded the place, lighting it up.

Glory tripped over a log while she was thinking about the place. "Ow...." She grumbled, rubbing her head. The RainWing looked around, looking for the rock path.

She saw nothing. Panicked, Glory wanted to yell for her smug, annoying yet handsome and charming bodyguard for help, but she really didn't want to sit through an entire HOUR lecture by DEATHBRINGER.

The RainWing looked straight ahead of her and realized that she was already in her 'hiding place'. "Huh. Well, I guess someone else might also accidentally stumble in here." Glory said, looking up in the night sky.

The sky was full of stars, shining bright and twinkling. Green, purple and red hue spots here in there. (Look at the top for pic) "Wow.." Glory said, mesmerized by the beautiful view.

The RainWing sat down and took a deep breath. "Ah, I see why you come here so often." A male voice called from the trees.

Glory looked up and squinted, trying to see who had found her, but she already knew who it was. "Deathbringer, come down." She said with a sigh.

Obediently, the NightWing assassin jumped down and landed next to Glory. "Beautiful tonight, huh?" He said. "Prettier than you." Glory said.

Deathbringer let out a dramatic gasp. "How could you be so cruel!??" He cried. "I am an-"

"All-wonderful and all-handsome NightWing?" Glory mocked, remembering the line Deathbringer had said when they first met.

Deathbringer puffed up his chest. "I'm glad you agree!" He said proudly. Glory rolled her eyes and laid down, continuing to look at the stars. A moment later, Deathbringer lied down next to her.

"You know what else is beautiful?" He asked. "What?" Glory asked, sitting up. Deathbringer chuckled. "You." He said, also sitting back up.

Glory battled her scales, trying to keep the pink from seeping through. She stamped out most of it, but a few splotches appeared on her wings.

Deathbringer put his wings around her, pulling her in close. That caused Glory to turn a light shade of pink, but Deathbringer saw it as clear as day.

Ok ok ok ok. Keep it together Glory! Don't let him see that you're flattered. Keep your scales from turning pink. Moons dang it, why'd he have to be so handsome??!! Aaauughhh!! Stop looking at me with that smirk!

Glory stopped screaming in her mind and just left her scales alone for the first time. Deathbringer seemed to be surprised as pink shifted through her scales, and Glory didn't fight back. Instead, she moved closer to him and snuggled into his chest.

The pair sat there, gazing up at the stars. Finally, Glory asked, "I'm bored, wanna do something?" Deathbringer turned his head down and looked at Glory. "Like what?" He asked.

"Oh, I have a few ideas." Glory said as she leaned in and kissed Deathbringer. The NightWing assassin had wide eyes but kissed her back, deeper this time. Glory saw this as competition and kissed him back with all the love she had.

Deathbringer smiled and bit Glory's lower lip. The RainWing Queen smiled and opened her mouth, letting Deathbringer tongue slither into her mouth.

And let me tell you, you don't want to know what Deathbringer had planned for Glory that night.
