Wings of Fire Oneshots!

Anemarin

Anemone walked down the hall. Today was, surprisingly, a day that Pike didn't follow her. The little SeaWing princess turned her head, only to find another SeaWing.

"Seriously Pike?" She asked. "If you're going to "protect me", shouldn't you be on the look out instead of stalking me? Also, you have terrible stealth."

Pike simply shrugged. "Just making sure the princess is okay." He said. Anemone rolled her eyes and continued walking.

Anemone walked past her winglet cave, and walked, well, more like excitedly speed-walked over to the  next one: The Gold Winglet.

Pike must've noticed because he asked, "Uhm, why are we going towards my winglet cave?" Anemone ignored him and started to run towards it.

The SeaWing princess looked inside and immediately, butterflies filled her stomach. She blushed. "Uh um...h-hey Tamar-Tamarin!" She stuttered.

The blind RainWing looked at Anemone, and her heart skipped a beat. "Anemone? What are you doing here?" She asked.

Anemone took a deep breath and opened her mouth, ready to say something, when Pike walked right past her and into the winglet cave.

"Uh....Pike? Can you maybe go away?" She asked. Pike shrugged. "Depends." He said. Anemone glared at him. "Alright alright alright!" He said, scared and walked out of the cave.

Anemone looked back to see if he really went away and turned back to Tamarin. "Look, Tamarin. There's uh...something I wanted to tell you." She said.

Tamarin nodded. Anemone took another deep breath and said, "Look, when I first met you, I thought you were just an ordinary RainWing. But that's not true. You're so determined and kind. Wanting to help your friends, even if it's a contest on being queen, and you still go through it everyday, even if you're blind." Anemone sighed.

"I guess what I'm trying to say is...." Anemone started. "Is..I-is I....I love yo-" Anemone didn't get to finish her sentence because a certain RainWing ran up to her and pushed her snout against her's.

Tamarin chuckled and pulled away. "You didn't have to have that whole speech, Anem." She said. "You just needed three words."

Anemone smiled and kissed her again. They continued to do this until two SeaWings broke them apart. "AHHHH!!!! NO! ANEMONE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MIINNNE!! AHHHH!!" Pike screamed and ran out the cave, again.

Anemone reluctantly broke the kiss and turned to the other SeaWing: Tsunami.

Uh-oh. She saw us....I was thinking of keeping it a secret! Three moons three moons!

"Anemone." Tsunami said. Tamarin knew who this was and shivered. Anemone wrapped her wings around her, and she seemed to shrink back into it. Tsunami stared at them.

"What am I supposed to tell mom?"
