Wings of Fire Oneshots!

Peril felt great. Darkstalker was defeated, she had friends who cared about her and she didn't have to worry about burning other dragons. Turtle had enchanted a bracelet so that Peril could turn on and off her firescales.

There was only one thing that she needed to make her life complete: Clay. Clay was so oblivious. She could probably just walk up to him, kiss him, tell him it was a 'friendship kiss' and he'd be okay with it.

Peril giggled as she thought about Clay giving 'friendship kisses' to other dragons. She reached the Prey Centre, where she hoped to find Clay and start their plan.

Peril was a now part of the Jade Winglet because that was the only Winglet that wanted her in it. She had called a Winglet meeting and told everyone that she liked Clay. "Almost everyone in the whole school already knows that Peril!" Qibli said. "Well, certainly not Clay, no offense."

"Well, I have a plan." Peril said, proudly. Winter and Moon would have to make sure nobody else knew about the plan as Kinkajou and Turtle set up a picnic at the top of Jade Mountain. Qibli was in charge of making sure everything went well, and also telling Peril what to say during her 'date' with Clay.

Peril, of course, was going to asking Clay to come to the 'date'. And boy was she nervous! (Bold is Qibli talking to Peril and Italic is Peril talking to Qibli on the head gear communication thingy)

I can't do it!

Yes you can! Come on! Just go over there and ask him! Don't worry, we're all here for you.

But, what if he doesn't want to come?"

Then the rest of us will just drag him over there.

(Rest of Jade Winglet) Go Peril!

Peril nervously walked over to Clay, who was eating a cow, as usual. "Oh hey Peril!" Clay said. "H-hi! Nice fe-feather! I-I mean uh w-weather!"

Deep breaths Peril, you can do this.

Peril inhaled, and exhaled. "Clay, can you meet me at the top of Jade Mountain at dawn?" She asked, hopefully. Clay's whole face lit up. "Of course!!" He exclaimed.

Peril smiled. "Ok, see you there!" She said and ran back to her Winglet Cave, where everyone else was at. "Congratulations Peril!!" Moon shouted.

"I wanna be invited to your wedding!!" Turtle teased. Peril gave him a playful shove and said, "Let's go wait for Clay."

Peril has never been so nervous. It was just a picnic with Clay, don't worry. The SkyWing sighed and sat down.

I don't think he's coming.

He's just late.

But....what is he really isn't coming?

Then like I said, the rest of us will forcefully drag him here.

I don't think Clay will like tha-

He's here!!

Peril whirled her head around. Qibli was right, Clay had shown up. The MudWing smiled and sat down next to Peril.

"I adore what you've done to the place." He said. Peril giggled. "Why thank you, I spent a lot of time making it."

No! Me and Turtle did I-Shush, Kinkajou!!

"Hey, so there's been something I wanted to tell you." Clay said and looked at Peril. The SkyWing panicked.

Don't worry! He probably wants to say that he loves you! Be confident!

"Y-Yeah? Wha-what is it?" Peril asked, nervously. Clay put his talon under Peril's chin, lifting her head up. "I love you, Peril." Clay leaned in, but stopped an inch from Peril's snout.

"Sorry." Clay said. Peril shook her head, and kissed Clay. She felt Clay smirk as he pulled her in closer with his tail.

"WHOOOO!!! YAY PERIL YOU DID IT!!" Kinkajou yelled, jumping out behind a boulder she was hiding behind. "Kinkajou!" Moon scolded. "We aren't supposed to jump out and expose ourselves!"

Clay broke the kiss and whipped his head around as the rest of the Jade Winglet sheepishly walked out from their hiding spot. The big MudWing turned his attention back to Peril and kissed her again.

"I'm giving them an extra class for disturbing us."
