Fatespeaker couldn't sleep that night, as usual, so she went outside to stargaze. When she got outside, she saw a familiar silhouette of a NightWing.

"Hey stary. What'cha doing?" Fatespeaker asked. Starflight turned his head. "Oh hey Fatespeaker. Let me guess, couldn't sleep? Me neither so I came out here to look at the stars." The blind NightWing answered.

"But....how do you do that when you're......you know...blind?" Fatespeaker asked. Starflight sighed and Fatespeaker thought she had upset him. "I'm just out here because I like the feeling of stargazing. I just imagine what the sky looks like. Sometimes I wish I could see." Starflight said.

"Then why not ask Turtle or Anemone to do it?"

"I feel rude doing that. Asking for a spell just so I could make my life easier and making another dragon loose a bit of their soul."

"But they protected their souls."

"I still feel bad."

"But......they're doing it for you."

"I don't need so many people worrying about me."

"Are you sure you're not Glory in disguise?"

"No! I just don't want to put their lives in danger!! Remember what happened to Darkstalker??!!"

"Yeah...I...just...though that....we'll, maybe you don't need my suggestions. After all, you never listen to me."

"What? No!! I-I didn't mean it like that!"

"Well what else could you mean?"

Starflight didn't answer. By now, Fatespeaker's patience has run out. "Well, fine. I just thought I could help you with something, but apparently you don't even listen to the rest I have to say." She said, getting up and starting to walk back to her cave. "I thought we were friends, but I guess friends actually listen to one another."

Fatespeaker's eyes were watery. Maybe she has gone to far? Will Starflight ever forgive her? Fatespeaker suddenly started sobbing. Starflight quickly got up and ran towards the noise.

He grabbed Fatespeaker's arm and turned her around so that now, she was facing him. Fatespeaker tried to run away, but Starflight kept her still with, surprisingly, only one arm.

With the other arm, Starflight started running his talon through Fatespeaker's face with a determined expression. Fatespeaker guessed that he was just going to wipe her tears, but he didn't.

Starflight stopped when he felt her lips and leaned in. Fatespeaker didn't have to react, because a moment later, Starflight has his snout pressed against hers. Fatespeaker smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Reluctantly, the two broke apart, gasping for air. Starflight looked back at Fatespeaker and smiled.

"I'll ask Turtle for a sight spell."
