(L/N) = Last name
Before you opened your eyes, you felt the texture of a cold, tiled floor on your exposed arms. You were startled, but didn't open your eyes.. you were too tired, anyway.
You shifted, and pushed yourself upwards into a crawling position. As you pushed your bodyweight onto your arms, you weakly lifted your head. Looking around you saw only empty corridors. No sunlight entered through the barricaded windows, nor did any wind. You didn't hear the chirping if any birds, or the sounds of nature.
You pushed yourself onto your feet, clumsily steadying yourself. You stood up.
The corridor had blank, grey walls, devoid of any further color.. apart from a large bloodsplatter coloring the area where the wall met the floor.
You abruptly covered your mouth, your eyes widening in shock. You held your stomach with one hand, feeling nauseous over the sight. Your eyes watered, as you looked back at the Crimson stain again.
"Hello?!" You yelled out.
Your words echoed through the hall.
"Is someone hurt? Can you hear me?!"
Nothing responded. You tried again, growing more and more desperate for something to accompany you.
"Please!" You pleaded.
You turned your attention to a nearby door. You stared at it for a moment, your gaze growing wider before snapping your attention back to the blood.
You turned your head to the bloodstain, grabbing at your hair. You placed back and forth, growing more and more agitated.
"No no no, don't cry.. don't cry, asshole." You spoke to yourself, with a small crack in your voice.
You let your hair fall onto your face, obscuring your vision. You lifted your arm to tuck the strands behind your ear, when you heard a noise from outside the walls.
You let the hair around your index finger twist and unravel, as you let it hang. You placed your hand on your hip, looking at the wall hesitantly.
Yet, you pressed your ear up to the wall, hoping you could hear through it. It probably wasn't that similar to the paper-like walls of your old cell, but it was better to be safe than sorry.
You heard what you thought sounded like scratching against ice, or rough snow. Like nails dragging against a chalk board, the sound irritated you, and you decided to move further way from the wall.
"What the fuck?" You whispered under your breath.
You pressed your hand against the wall, only to feel a light vibration. It wasn't consistent, though.. it felt like it was coming from the ground.
You figured it might've been whatever was scratching the ground, but you weren't too sure.
You turned back to the door you had previously looked at.
Unlike the moment before, you decided to walk towards it. As you moved closer, you began to see the text under the button clearly.
"Do not handle when electricity is on. Retrieve necessary tools from the site director and then turn of the electric generator for the respective portion of the facility. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES is power to the entire site to be cut. Doing so will result in demotion, or termination."
Reading it gave you chills. It didn't take you long to figure out where you were.. the warning gave you more than enough information to know.
You, for some stupid reason, were back in the facility.
"Whoop-de-fricking-do.." you said with a growl.
You rolled your eyes. Whatever.. you had Tiberius. You and him have each other's backs. If any damned personnel or a "site director" decided to take action, all your have to do is call out to him. You knew you were safe..
You walked back towards the wall again. You lightly dragged your finger along the wall, feeling the material against your skin.
Tiberius was more to you than just a bodyguard, though.. he was a friend. He saved you; kept you company during your darkest day. You had only known him for a day at most, yet you felt all these things for him..
Your cheeks felt warm to the touch. You realized you were thinking about Tiberius, and let yourself relax. Your shoulders, once tense, were now down and relaxed.
"But.." you trailed off..
"Is this allowed?" You asked yourself.
You swallowed, feeling nervous."He's not human. I've never met anything like him before, yet.. I feel things for him that I thought I'd only ever feel for a human." You placed back and fourth, letting yourself feel as comfortable as needed, but not too defenseless.
You inhaled shakily, and exhaled the air inside your lungs.
"I.. I think I'm in-"
You were cut of but the sudden feeling of something wet on your shoulder. You turned around and you were still startled by what you saw..
"T-Tiberius!" You gasped, eyes widening.
You felt increasingly embarrassed, blush growing on your cheeks.
It was funny how even though Tiberius never physically showed how he felt, you could always tell. It was like second nature for you.
Like the way someone could tell you the name of their girlfriends favorite Rock band, video game, or even just how they're feeling by the way they talk.. you felt linked to Tiberius.
Like a spiritual romance lingering in the air..
You looked up at him, smiling wide. You opened up your arms, and walked towards him.
"I missed you, big guy."
You didn't expect to say those words, but they slipped from your tongue before you had the chance to catch them. Part of you was happy you said them. The other half?
Well, you were really scared.
Tiberius cracked a small sliver of a smile; something you hadn't seen him do before. His appendages began protruding from his back, as one of them wrapped around your left hand.
Another one wrapped around your waist, which surprised you. You didn't say anything, though..
You were still happy in Tiberius' arms, anyway.

"(Y/N) (L/N)?"
You stood up from your chair, which was surrounded by other not-so-sanitary ones. You walked up the the lady at the desk, and listened.
"It's your turn to speak to Dr. Burns, ma'am. I'll need your I.D."
You slid your driver's license across the desk to her. She caught it in her hand, and inspected it closely.
"Alright. Have a good visit, Ma'am!" She exclaimed cheerfully.
"Thanks." You said with a fake smile plastered into your face. You walked to your left, opening a door and walking down a seperate hallway.
You knew why you were there.
