A couple of days ago a man named Andrey Duksin has resumed his arrangements for trademarking the SCP logo, and is currently threatening action against the wiki as a whole, and has taken down the Russian branch's social media page, and a meme fan page over his "ownership."
His goal is to turn the Russian wiki into his own site to advertise his merchandise. If he succeeds in this goal and becomes the administrator of this site, it will threaten all other branches of the wiki, including ours.
We absolutely cannot let this happen.
If you love SCP, and you love the content all of us create, I urge you to share their donation page with the hashtag #StandwithSCPRU
Our wiki is on the line, and all the content we create. I've always wanted to write an SCP. I have a folder full of ones that I didn't like inside my closet. My dream was to finally get the courage to post one on the wiki.
Thanks to Andrey, I might not have that chance.
If you have an SCP, post it now. A tale? Also post it now. We have nothing to lose except for our wiki, and we will not rest until we can take this guy to court and take back what is rightfully ours.
