Cynthia's point of view
———————————————————
As Kenya struts down the lunch room, a smile creeps up on my face. That's my girl.
I get up and dump my tray, I then make my way back to my room.
I decided that I was just going to cry into the covers of my bed for the rest of eternity.
Why?
Why did I lose Octavia?
She was so sweet, and so innocent. I almost considered her my little sister.
As I approach my hotel door I notice a nice little shoe box laying in front of the wood door.
I crouch down and open it up.
Supply runs for today.
-Walgreens- Gold peak tea
-Subway- LettuceUm ok.
Kinda easy but I'll take it.
I go into my room and change into some more practical clothes. I change into clothes that will be comfy, but ready for a attack.
I go out to the supply people yard of cars and take off.
As I drive, I notice the chaos that has erupted, and the damage that has been done.
Buildings are broken
People are dead
Streets are drenched in tears, blood, and agony.I pull up into the abandoned Walgreens.
The building was dark and eerie, and ran chills up my back.
I slowly get out of the car and approach the nightmare of a building, my boots clacked as they hit the cement.
"Easy chore" I told myself.
"Easy chore"
I approach the door, and they squeak as they automatically open.
I step into the building.
There's glass everywhere, the floor is drenched in blood, and there are some tents in the far corner of the store.
There are tents in the corner of the store.
I stare at the tents for what feels like ages.
Then I turn my head.
A teen girl with messy blonde hair, a bit shorter than me, and blood and scratches on her face has a pistol pointed towards me.
She's shaking
I put my hands up.
"Give me the gun" she says, her voice shaking.
I slowly pull the gun out my belt and drag it to her across the floor.
"Hands up!" She yells.
I lift them up.
"What do you want?" She says, her voice still shaky.
"Just some gold peak tea" I say calmly, although I was freaking out.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT" she yells again, crying now.
I honestly don't know what my intentions are anymore.
"I don't know" I say shrugging.
