As we take an Uber to where ever Jonah's family lives, reality hits me. I'm currently in a car, with my friend, on our way to meet his family IN FUCKING Los Angeles. I shift to the window and start admiring the bright blue sky. As I close my eyes I feel a hand on my knee.
"Are you okay?" Jonah asks kindly and I look at him. I can see he's more relaxed than me, and I decide to play it cool for him. His literal mom wanted to fucking meet me, HE TALKED TO HIS MOTHER ABOUT ME! I nod a Yes and Jonah kisses my cheek. I really want to be alone with him now, no Uberdriver, no family, no Zach who's turning 19. Gosh, this is going to be so awkward and I hate that feeling.

"Look at this" Jonah whispers to himself as we walk past a little port with a few boats laying there. The sun is literally bruning my skin and i'm glad I brought my sunglasses. Jonah walks fast forward to a white apartment complex. It has an amazing view over the harbor. I walk behind him, in one hand my suitcase and in the other my regular bag. I smile as he stops in front of a door and I see him smile brightly.
"I lived here for about three years with all of our families. We had a great time" He says and I see he's happy. Gosh I live seeing this man happy. He doesn't even have to knock on the door or a girl of my age opens the door. Jonah gasps and pulls her into a tight hug. I stand there, watching as they pull away.
"Esther this is Ruby, Ruby this is my sister Esther" Jonah smiles and I see Esther giving Jonah a face. Great, she knows more than I do!
"So you're Ruby?" She teases and walks closer. I see Jonah roll his eyes and I laugh. Esther sternly looks behind her and Jonah stops being an ass. As she looks back at me, I see her eyes twinkle.
"Welcome to LA Ruby, we were looking forward to finally meet you!" She shrieks and hugs me. I laugh and hug back, only to see Jonah winking at me.
Finally? For how long has he been talking to his family about me? Longer than I thought....! When she pulls away, I see like 10 people in the doorway, all looking at me in awe.
"Are you kidding me?" I laugh and they all laugh with me. Is there something about me that makes them so curious around me? A woman steps forward and pecks Jonah cheek.
"She's beautiful" I see her mouthing to Jonah and he smiles proudly. I think I came as his girlfriend, definitely not his friend. As she walks up to me, her arm quickly find they way on my waist and I hug her back.
"Welcome to our home, but I heard you're also from Minnesota?" She smiles and the sparkle in her eyes is unavoidable.
"Yes Miss, I do" I smile softly and I hear I assume Jonah's father patting Jonah on the chest.
"Then we're good, you come from a good place" She laughs playfully and I giggle. Minnesota people like Minnesota people, I guess? As Jonah father hugs me, I immediately recognize Jonah. His hugs are the same. I practically disappear in their bodies. Then a little girls walks over and sticks out her hand. I realize I didn't shook hands with any of his family, they all gave me a hug. I look down at the pretty girl and smile.
"I'm Svea, nice to meet you!" She stats smiling and I kneel down.
"Oh whatever Svea come here!" I laugh and pull her in for a hug. I hear Jonah laugh and I see his whole family standing with more strange people.

"Let's go back inside and meet the others. How do you like it so far?" Jonah says as we both stand in a bathroom. We've been told to put our stuff in here before going to a different place. We are going to, I assume, stay over at a spot not far away. I look into the mirror, fixing my hair as Jonah stands against the sink, admiring me.
"How did you introduced me to them Jonah?" I say grinning, seeing his face turning red.
"As my girlfriend?" He whispers and I stop looking at myself. I face the tall boy against the sink and giggle.
"Looks like they know more of that than me?" I tease and he looks at his feet.
"If I told them you were my friend, then they would torture us long enough we ended up marrying each other the same day!" Jonah scoffs and I laugh.
"Your family is lovely Jonah" I say and I take my bottom lip between my teeth.
"Is is too early?" He says and I see the hesitation in his eyes. I open my mouth to say something but we get interrupted by his sister Esther.
"The boys are here to take you to Jacks, i'll help you guys with your suitcases" She kindly says and I quickly glance at Jonah. He gives me a face of we'll talk about this later and I nod.

It's a major struggle to get our suitcaes back outside, that I don't see the three boys standing in front of me. I curse loudly and hear snorts. As I finally stand on my two feet again, I look up to find 8 eyes staring at me.
"Sorry" I whisper, knowing I cursed out loud. They all laugh and look at Jonah.
"Jack" A curly boy says and I shake his hand. I find out only Daniel, Zach and Jack are here. Corbyn comes later. Within 5 minutes I'm having the giggles with Zach. Me and him turned out we have the same humor and when we saw a little girl fall off her bike, we both started to laugh hysterical. Now we're walking towards Jacks house, what is a five minute walk from Jonah's. Me and Zach have laughed the whole walk, only glancing at each other made my stomach hurt again. I see why it's so much fun with these goofs. We step into a house, modern and open. I totally fall in love with the way it looks and I give Jack some thumbs up. He laughs and leads us towards a bedroom. I gasp loudly as I see there's only one dubble bed in the small room and I hear Zach burst out in laughter again, what makes me giggle softy.
"I'm just helping the process" Jacks jokes to Jonah, who's not in the mood to fuck with the current status of us. I think it's funny because I push Jonah side, sliding my suitcase in. I hear the door close and a flushed Jonah is standing against it.
"Are you okay with this?" He signs to the bed and I cock him a brow.
"Of course I am, aren't we together?" I joke and Jonah facepalms. I snicker and walk towards him. Wow, in this past hour i've been joking about him alot. I let my hands run over his arms and I feel him instantly relax.
"Don't be so harsh on yourself, i've never said I didn't like the thought of being your girlfriend" I smile and his eyes shoot open. I smile at him and lean in. At first he's hesitant but as I place my hands on his face to push him closer, he kisses me back. He licks my bottomlip and I happily obey.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend Ruby?" He asks, breathing out on my lips. I grin and look into those blue eyes of him.
"Yes, of course I want to" I laugh and I feel Jonah's head in my neck. He's hugging me and I shriek when I feel him grabbing my butt.
"I hope I can make you very happy this week" I smile and Jonah scoffs.
"Ugm HELLO! My whole family clearly adores you, you have a good click with my friends AND we sleep in one bed tonight. I think you can't make me happier!" Jonah holds me tight and I laugh. That's totally true! I hope my hormones can resist him tonight, and I do hope these walls are sound proof...

i'm so stupid, i forgot that when you stop smoking cigarettes, you'll get really hungry all the time. I ATE LIKE A SOLID 10.000 CALORIES!! ugh and this stupid bitch wanted to loose weight, guess not...
