"Bring this to table 14, they're important people for the restaurant, please be on your best when you serve them" Austin smiles at me as he hands me two plates of pink salmon. I nod and quickly walk over to the table with an older couple. They smile kindly at me as I hand them their food. My shift is over in half an hour, which I'm happy about. Austin's happy that I'm back, I think the whole staff is glad I'm back. I'm the person who brings some laughs through the tough work hours.
"You can go Rub, it isn't that packed and me and Eva will handle this" He smiles and I breathe out.
"Thanks Austin, you're the best" I peck his cheek and throw my apron in the corner of the kitchen. I wave to the Chef, who politely nods in my direction and I smile at him. I grab my bag and keys and leave through the back doorway. The icy wind bites in my face and luckily I only have to walk like 3 seconds till I'm standing in my lobby.
As I step out of the elevator on my floor, I see Jonah with a suitcase outside of his apartment. I frown. I'm tired and I want to shower and sit on my couch with him, drinking whatever the fuck he wants. Is he leaving, and for what?
"Where do you think you're going?" I say playful as I hug him from behind. He turns around and the handsome face smiles down at me.
"My family invited me to come over and celebrate Zachs birthday. He's turning 19" He softly says and I still don't get why he has to pack so much stuff.
"My family still lives in LA Ruby, my flight leaves within two hours" He softly mutters and I gasp.
"For how long can't I have Chinese Dinner Dates with you?" I sheepishly grin and he laughs. It's our thing now. Ever since Jonah showed up with food, we have Chinese Dinner Dates at my place almost every three days.
"My mom asked me if I'm talking to someone and if it was a yes she wants me to bring her with me" He says, looking at my eyes, slightly panicked.
"Oh, did you ask her if she wants to go?" I say, almost a whisper and Jonah smiles.
"Do you want to go to LA with me for a week?" He says and his hand find its way to my waist. I start to blush at this amazing offer and I turn speechless.
"I don't know Jonah, of course I want to go but I have to work" I awkwardly smile but Jonah laughs.
"I already talked to Austin. Gosh, he does likes you, doesn't he!" Jonah stats and I facepalm. He talked to Austin? I'm so glad I didn't had to witness that conversation!
"So, do you wanna go with me or not?" Jonah says, getting slightly impatient. Do I need to introduce myself as his girlfriend, or just as his friend? We haven't had sex yet so friend is better I guess! I'm his friend! Just his fri-
My thoughts got cut off by Jonah pushing me into my apartment.
"Go take a shower, get some cold clothes for the California weather and I see you back in 30" He laughs and I nod. 30? Who does he thinks I am? Speedy Gonzalez?

I've never seen Jonah's car before. I did saw that Mercedes in front of my building but I never thought it was his. I'm wearing shorts with an oversized shirt of Rihanna. I quickly shaved my legs in the shower and I luckily didn't forgot to bring my bathing suits. I'm wearing white Nike Air Max and my hair is wet and curly, just below my shoulders. I also put on all my gold jewelry, I want to look on my best when I meet his family and friends. What the hell, i've known him for only a few weeks! This is crazy! As we both sit in his leather smelling car, I breathe out.
"There's no way in hell i'm going to be able to pay you this back!" I move my head to the side and only now I notice how incredibly handsome he's looking today. He's wearing a baseball cap with a black sweater and sweats underneath. I can't take my eyes off of him and it's hard to not take him right in this car. Car sex with Jonah, holy shit...! Jonah grins and places his hand on my bare knee.
"Just be nice to my family and i'll be more than happy" His dark eyes looking at my shirt.
"Shit, I planned to be complete bitch when I'm greeting your mother!" I joke and Jonah laughs.
"Last week you made me feel something I haven't felt in a long time. Peace. I'm so comfortable around you and I truly want to bring you to wherever i'm going to. This is the least I could do back for last week when we laid on your couch, talking about ourselves. This is my opportunity to show you my life, when last week you showed me yours" Jonah says as he sometimes glances to the side, trying to keep his eyes on the road during his speech. I bit my lip and move closer, kissing his cheek.
"You're amazing, did you know that?" I say as I admire the man next to me. I see the smile grow on his lips and goosebumps spread over my body. We're not even together yet and i'm already in love with the way this man can smile! After a 20 minute ride to the airport, we both check in and get coffee. As we both sit down, the little kid I am wanting to sit next to the window, he places his arm around me. It's good 6 hours flight and work already had me exhausted so I immediately fall asleep. Jonah snuggles closer to me and I smile. Goals!

"We're here" Jonah yawns and I look oustide of the small window. I already can feel the warm sun here and I haven't seen any in a long time. I'm that kind of person that once blink up to the sun, she's ten times darker. So I'm dearly looking forward to lay on the beach with him. Meeting his family will be different, I haven't even told mine i'm seeing someone? Is this even called seeing someone? I know we're moving fast, and we both play with each others mind. But as I see him standing there with my bag, signing for me to stand up and join this adventure with him, I obviously can't say no! Maybe he's my new love, but that will take a little more time, and little more Chinese Dinner Dates!

I missed writing about LA so that's why! I was literally getting depressed but this new york weather and I always imagined it as a dewy rainy, and foggy city! I missed the goddamn sun in my books!
