Here's The Deal|9

"Do you have a job?" I say as we both lay in my couch. I honestly don't know the time and I honestly don't care. Jonah looks me into my eyes and sighs.
"I don't want you to laugh at me okay?" He says soft and I sit up straight, straddling him. I cock him a brow and he sits up with his back against my couch.
"I-I was in a boyband, for a couple of years. You know i'm 22 now, we broke up at the beginning of this year" He mutters and I giggle.
"I want you to tell me all about it Jonah, your life sounds so much more interesting than mine" I laugh and I make myself comfortable on his lap. He starts talking. His voice totally relaxes me and I smile with my eyes closed as my head rests on his chest.
"I made a lot of money out of the band, so much I don't even have to work for the next ten years if I want to. But I won't, i'm always in the studio making new music. I'm just on a small break. We all lived in Los Angeles. One of my best friends Corbyn moved here to stay with his girlfriend and I thought 'Why not?' . Like why not escape from the hectic life I lived there and finally find peace here in an apartment in the middle of New York with one of my closest friends nearby. I honestly never wanna go back to LA, my life was too messy back then" He tells me and I listen to him carefully. My dream as a little girl has always been going to LA, I would kill someone if that was the only chance to bring me there. But after college my mom saw a future for me in New York, saying I needed to leave the quiet villages and move to a big city. I agreed and i've never regret going here. But when Jonah brings LA up again, my whole mind starts to get against the Big Apple, again.

"It's funny we both want different things" I say as my fingertips stroke along his jaw. He smiles and asks why.
"I want that hectic life, I want my life to be a mess for once and let loose. Experience new things and live a crazy life. You did all that stuff and now you want to rest and build up a stable beginning of a new road, a quiet one with the peace you need. I have that life, it's boring Jonah" I whisper softly as my eyes inspect his face closely.
"But that's the thing, I want to be boring. Here's the deal" He says and he grabs my waist to push me closer so now we're chest to chest, sitting on my couch.
"I'm going to show you my life, teach you things i've learned over the past years. And YOU are going to show me your ways of living, don't forget the little things and show me how to live normal" He smiles and I see the happiness blink in his eyes.
"Okay deal, let this adventure begin" I laugh and I hear him not laughing with me.
"Stop moving so much on my lap, i'll die soon or later" He smirks and I grin. We both lean in and are lips move in sync.
"Can you stop having me carving you so much" Jonah whispers against my lips. Just as he says that, my door swings open and Reggie and Aubree stand in my doorway. I sigh and Jonah pushes me off of him. He pecks my cheek and walks towards the door.
"What was going down in here?" Aubree asks as she winks at me. I see my three important people standing at my door, while I lay on my couch.
"Why don't you guys knock for once!" I hiss through my teeth and Reggie scoffs. I stand up to walk up to Jonah and his arm swings over my shoulder.
"Should I go?" He whispers and I shake my head.
"No stay, a little bit of extra testosterone won't hurt my soul!" Reggie laughs and he pats Jonahs shoulder. Aubree's mouth just hangs open this whole time and I reach out with my hand to close it.
"Are you..... maybe...?" She starts but I look at her with stern eyes.
"Don't go there Aubree" I whisper and she gets my message. I see she carrying a large bag what can only mean one single thing. Liquor and snacks.

"You look so young!" Aubree laughs as Reggie googles Jonah. The boys sit at my bar, while me and Aubree are preparing snacks and handing everyone beer. I quickly shoot over to Reggie, looking over his shoulder to look at a young Jonah. He's standing with four other guys who in my opinion look much younger than him.
"I was the oldest, Zach over there the youngest. We have Daniel and Jack over here" Jonah's face is lovely to look at, seeing him pointing to his bestfriends where he toured with around the fucking world. I want that!
"And that is Corbyn, who lives with his girlfriend now" Jonah smiles. I see he's proud talking about him. Probably because he's living a normal life with the person he loves. Is that why Jonah likes me, because i'm normal? I scrunch my face at the thought. Most of the time you need to be ordinary to have men looking at you. Jonah just wants a waitress of 20 years old with a boring background. Whatever floats your boat right? We all talk till Aubree needs to leave. I walk with her to my door. In the background you could hear the guys laughing about stupid men things.
"He's perfect" Aubree stats and I nod with a cheesy smile. Well, glad you found out, late bloomer.
"He's awesome, he's down to earth but the fact he toured around the world makes me like him even more!" I shriek and I feel Aubree squeezing my arm.
"Get him, devour him, make him yours!" She says a little too loud because we hear Reggie mocking her. I facepalm and Aubree kisses my cheek.
"When are you planning on working again?" She says quickly before walking down my hallway.
"By the end of this week i'll give Austin a call, I honestly do miss being busy!" I yell after her and she gives me her thumbs. I wave and close the door, only to get greeted by a chest. It's Reggie.
"Are you also leaving me!" I whine and place my forehead on his chest.
"I also have to work tomorrow Rubs, i'm sorry" He giggles and grabs my face.
"Okay, I think I can understand" I say on a childish tone and Reggie kisses my head.
"Sleep tight Ruby and that Jonah boy is a keeper!" Reggie yells before I smack the door in his face.
"THANKS FOR KEEPING YOUR VOICE DOWN!" I yell after him and I close my door. I hear Jonah laugh in my kitchen and I grin. Reggie can be a pain in the ass sometimes.

Today, precisely 10 months ago, i joined wattpad, holy shit! I'm having multiple mental breakdowns because life fucks me from behind and i'm not there for it bye!
