It's been a rough few days. Jonah went back to LA, some business stuff for his solo career and he's currently trying to build his way further into the music industry. And since in LA is where the magic happens, he's there. For almost seven days now. That's the longest we've been separated. Since the day I met him, we never left our sides. And it feels weird having him not walking around in my apartment. I'm hoping Daniel and Jack can teach him some things for his solo career. I can't wait till he picks up his passion again and starts making music. He literally sings all the time. He gave me the keys to his apartment, in case I needed anything from him. He didn't knew when he would come back, but it wasn't soon. But I work usually all day, so it's not that I have a lot of time to sit down and cry because he ain't here.

"Reggie called me, it was an emergency" Aubree says as we both stand outside the restaurant. We're both done with our shifts but first we needed a cigarette. Jonah hates it when I smoke with his appearance, so I usually only smoke at work, in my breaks.
"He probably found out some new sort of wine and wants us to try it with him" I roll my eyes with a laugh and tap some ash away.
"Yeah I guess, he wants us to meet at his apartment, tonight" She says biting her bottom lip.
"Omg, i'm so ready for the three of us again" I say, smiling. Reggie is just missing his besties.
"Gosh, same. Should we both go home, refresh and then meet outside of your building, we'll walk from there to Reggie's" Aubree stats and I nod. Great plan.

I kick off my shoes and feel my feet flat on the ground. That shit hurts. I walk straight to the shower and undress. When I'm about to hop into the cold water of my shower, I get a phone call. It's Jonah. I let out a small scream and pick up the phone. I get a shiver on my back as he greets me through the phone.
"Hey baby, how are you doing?" He asks me and I smile to my reflection in the mirror.
"Good, I'm doing okay, how are you and the boys. Having fun?" I say, drawing heart on the foggy glass.
"I'm going good, just feeling lonely without you. But I wanted to call you for something, there's something I need to tell you" He says serious and I turn off my shower. A waste of water, if I left it on.
"Okay, ask me" I say, fiddling with my towel.
"There's this record that wants to sign me, here in LA. The same as Jack and Daniel. Also Jack's neighbors moved" He says quickly. Is he giving me hints?
"So what are you telling me?" I say hesitating.
"I'm thinking of moving back to LA, I'm ready to get back to work" He says and I hear the crack in his voice.
"Jonah, what? I thought you wanted to live normal, with me, here in New York!" I say angry in to phone. What is this bullshit.
"Ruby, music is my job. We'll, I can make it my job again here!" He slightly panics. I gasp and groan.
"Ruby, leave it here, we're not going to fight over the phone" He tries to calm me.
"How could you plan this without me? But go, please, leave me and go fucking live in that sunny Los Angeles of yours!" I scream and decline the call. I tighten my grip on my phone and it surprises me it don't break. I'm fuming! Wasn't he the one who wanted to leave a normal life, with me. I guess I'm too normal for him. He wants adventures, live in LA and tour. I don't live like that. I mean I wish I had a life like that. But I'm a waitress in New York City and I have all my friends here. Like two, but three if you count Austin. I shake my head a few times and step under the shower. He wants to move back, I could've known he missed the sunny and buzy LA lifestyle.

"Here" Aubree smiles as she hands me a cigarette. We're walking towards Reggie's house, at 9 at night. My hair is still wet and I didn't put any effort in my outfit. I'm literally wearing my pajamas. We hook our arms into each other and talk while passing the big and expensive New York down town houses.

"Jonah wants to move back to Los Angeles" I stat as I get a glass of wine pushed in my hands. We're all sitting in Reggie's livingroom, spread out over the comfortable couches and chairs. Aubree gasps and I shrug.
"I know! Shocking. He called me when I was about to shower, saying a label wanted to sign him and Jack's neighbor moved" I say, not wanting to start crying. They have to know.
"Why don't you go with him? You always wanted to go there" Reggie says as he looks at me.
"Are you nuts? I work here, I have you guys here! I'm not going to that place and leave my whole life behind me. I already did that when I moved here from Minnesota!" I say and I feel i'm getting really down.
"Ruby, he's famous. He's been touring and singing his whole life. Are you really going to let him choose between those things when you're the ine who can bring them together?" Reggie says and I groan. Why is the world is he such a smart ass. I hear Reggie snicker and Aubree smiles.
"I guess I have an apology to make huh?" I say and they both nod repeatedly.
"Okay, i'll be right back" I grin and grab my phone out of my purse. I walk to Reggie's bedroom and fall on to the sheets. I dail Jonah's number and within seconds, I have him on the phone.
"Where you waiting for my call?" I grin as I look up to the ceiling.
"Of course! You hung up angry and you never are and I'm literally across the country" He says and I hear sadness in his voice.
"Yeah I'm sorry, I need to understand you have a different job than I do. I can't let you choose between me and music" I smile and I fiddle with my sweater. He sighs and I sit up straight.
"I don't want to choose Ruby, I want you both" He says and butterflies enter my stomach.
"You don't have to choose Jonah. Do you want me to go with you?" I say and I bite my bottom lip nervously. What if he says he doesn't want me to go.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME? RUBY, YOU JUST MADE ME HAPPIEST MAN ON EARTH! OMG EYO JACK COME HERE MAN, HEAR WHAT RUBY SAID TO ME!" He shouts through the phone and I have to pull it away from my ear because he's so loud. I laugh as I hear Jack in the background, also yelling.
"You guys are crazy!" I laugh and I hear Jonah calming down.
"For you i'm insane" He says out of breath and I smirk.
"We'll talk about it tomorrow okay. I have to fix some things with work and friend and-" I say but he stops me.
"Ruby, I already found a place you could work if you want to. A coffeehouse down the street. You can move in with me, I'm buying the house next to Jack. I'm selling my apartment, maybe you could too?" He says and I gasp. I bought that apartment with my first money and it's my first house.
"Just think about it Ruby, do want you want. But I promise you, we're going to be the happiest when you move in with me" He says and I slightly gasps. Living together with Jonah. I mean, we practically lived together by living next to each other. We were always in each others apartment. But this is different. This is sharing everything together.
