"She's what?" I say but before I can finish my sentence, she walks in. Her red locks perfectly curled, a short dress and some ugly ass pink lipstick. Austin hates girls dressed like this. Aubree and I look more 'boyish' than other girls.
"Are we done Austin?" I ask in a whisper and Austin nods.
"Will you maybe join Reggie and Aubree to bring me to the airport tonight, I would love having you there" I smile to him and he nods. His blonde curls bouncing as he does so. I smile, slightly hug him and stand up. Bella scans my whole body and I see Aubree behind her getting heated.
"Have fun here" I smile in all kinds of sarcasm and pass her. That scent was around Archie the nigth he acted weird. I grap Aubree's arm and walk with her back into the restaurant. As she's preparing things behind the bar, I take place against it.
"So, you're leaving tonight" She says irritated and I don't blame her. I knew she wanted me to go, but not this early and without telling her.
"Yep. I'm going to call Reggie and I want the three of you to bring me to the airport" I say and she looks at me through her eyelashes.
"Fine. Can I keep the keys of your apartment?" She says and I swallow.
"I'm going to sell it Bree, we're keeping Jonah's house as a reserve" I say quietly and I can hear her sigh.
"You don't see what's happening here, do you?" She says in her fake voice and I see where this is going.
"Aubree, I love him. I want to move in with him and spend time there with him and his friends. He also got me a job there! And you can visit me anytime you want!" I say, trying to convince her.
"I'm a waitress Ruby, I can't effort tickets to fucking LA! Neither can Reggie" She goes on and I frown.
"I thought you wanted me to go!" I say a little too loud and I see people's heads turning towards our direction.
"I'm working Ruby, I don't have time for this" She says as she finishes the order and she walks away from the bar with a couple of drinks. I open my mouth to call her but she's indeed working. Austin will chop my ass if I distract her.

It's noon. I've put my house out there for sale and I began to feel hesitant. Am I making the right choice?

I hear a knock on my door and I just finished packing all my stuff. It took me a full hour. I run to my door and peek through the little whole in my door. I see him. Fuck, what! Archie.
"What are you doing here?" I say and I see he's looking better than ever. Maybe better than the time we were together. And he looks good, can't lie.
"I heard you're leaving New York, and I'm not invited for your little good bye party" He grins slyly and I frown.
"There's no goodbye party" I snicker and lean against my door frame, putting my hands in my pockets. Why do I still feel so comfortable around him in a strange way. I should take this change to kill him honestly.
"Fuck! I've said something I shouldn't. But you're getting a goodbye party Ruby" He laughs smallish and I let out a laugh.
"How'd know?" I say and make some eye contact. He looks healthier.
"Aubree texted me you're leaving and that I should say goodbye since I've been such a big part in your life. And I needed to be here before the surprise party started, which I now officially screwed up!" He says and I drop my eyes to my feet.
"It's nice seeing you're doing good. How are you and Bella?" I ask without looking at him and I hear him suck in a breath.
"We broke up, that's why I'm looking so good!" He jokes and I scoff.
"Fool" I whisper and he makes eye contact.
"Looking at you, I'm indeed a fool. A big one" He says and I close my eyes. Don't. Go. There. He grabs my hands and I push my shoulder away from the doorframe.
"I hope you're going to have an amazing time with Jonah. I hope you'll feel loved and needed. Things I didn't show you but promise me, there were there. I fucked up our perfect match made in heaven and I'm truly sorry for that. Bella showed me that you're way more important for me than I thought you were. I'm sorry, again. I made a big mistake." He says and I feel my eyes water. He has power over that one little place in my heart that was still there for him. You can't unlove someone you loved for so long. I hear Aubree, Austin and Reggie walking out of elevator, reaching my hallway. Archie quickly whipes my tears away and I realize I miss his touch.
"I missed you" He whispers and plants a kiss on my forehead. As he pulls away and I open my eyes, there're four people standing in front of my door. Reggie, Aubree, Austin and Archie. A few months ago, the most important people in my life. I sniff a few times and see they brought my favorite food. Chinese dinner dates.

Archie stayed. We all ate and it wasn't uncomfortable at all. Reggie was only a bit tensed up by the situation but Aubree saved the day by sitting next to him so he wouldn't have to talk to Reggie. I smiled to Reggie as we walk to my bedroom to get my stuff. He grabbed my suitcase and sighed.
"I'm going to miss you here Rub, you're very special to me" He grins and I smile.
"I'm going to miss you too, I really liked having you around. You feel truly like a brother" I smile and he rolls his eyes.
"Friend zone alert!" He yells and I laugh.
"Let's go, get your stuff and leave this place" He scoffs and we walk back to my livingroom. They're all waiting for us at the door.
"We're taking my car, I'll take everyone home afterwards!" Austin shouts and we all laugh. Except for me. I have a backpack with luggage for the plane. As we walk outside to go off to the airport, Archie grabs my arm.
"I'm not joining you guys, I don't feel very comfortable doing that" He says and I nod.
"I understand, thanks for stopping by anyway!" I smile and he smiles too.
"I wish you all the best Ruby, you deserve it" He says and he hugs me. It literally takes every cell in my body not to cry right now. I haven't had this man in my arms for a good 4 months or so. As we pull away, I see he's crying and I sniff.
"Stop you ass!" I laugh and smack his arm. He doesn't flinch, he's just happily smiling down on me.
"Have fun and if you ever want to talk, just as friends, give a call" He gives me a toothless smile and I nod.
"Please don't call me, Jonah will basically loose his cool when he'll see your name pop on on my screen!" I laugh and Archie snickers. I'm happy he took so long before visiting me. A few months ago I could've killed him with bare hands. Now he's a friend.
"So I guess this is it" I clap in my hands and hear Aubree yell from Austin's car that we need to hurry.
"I'm honestly sorry we didn't meet up earlier, you're a good talk" I say truly and I scratch my scalp. What are you saying Ruby, get in that car and leave.
"Goodbye Rub" He whispers and he kisses my cheek softly. I blush lightly and give him one last hug. I run to the car and hop in.

We all took place in Austin's car and I'm sitting next to him. This was a really strange night, but I approve, I guess...

im so busy, like what is time, i don't know her. Also, within a few days it's my ONE YEAR anniversary on wattpad and i'm turning 17 like in basically a month so me is happy!
