I jump down the stairs, Corbyn's girlfriend Christina following me. My hair is still a bit wet when I hug Jonah's back, who's in the kitchen talking to Jack and Corbyn. I finally get a good view of him, seeing him smiling brightly as his girlfriend enters the room. Jonah pulls me in front of him, dipping his head down to my neck, giving it a quick kiss.
"For today I thought we could let Ruby see what Los Angeles looks like" Jonah stats. I see at his he's never going to change plans, everyone has to agree with him. So we all nod, grabbing our bags to be again, packed in Jack's car. As we find out that would never fit, the half of us go with Daniel's car. I'm sitting in Jack's car with Jonah, Corbyn and Christina while Zach, Daniel and Kay are driving behind us. Jonah planned to go to the mall, and get typical LA food. I'm snuggled up to his side, looking out of the window. Palm trees literally everywhere you can look and people with tank tops and shorts walking on the pavement. The culture is so different compared to New York, especially compared to Minnesota. It's nice knowing Jonah comes from the same place I do.

"We'll split up, i'll go with Jonah while you ladies go somewhere fun" Corbyn quickly stats as I only did one step on the parking lot of the mall. Jonah frowns and scoffs. I guess someone is not agreeing on this one.
"I'm going with Ruby and everyone who wants to join, is free to come with us' He says, quickly making eye contact with me, earning a smile from me. Corbyn just glances at Jonah and shrugs, making me a bit uncomfortable. Did I miss something? Christina pushes my side as she notices my frown and laughs.
"Don't mind him, he's just tired!" She whispers and walks off with Kay hooked on her arm. They both walk off and leave the group. A weird irritating tone was overruling her voice. Like she was ashamed of how her boyfriend reacted. I did heard them arguing in the car, but I was too busy fiddling with Jonah's rings on his fingers.
"Well, that was Kay leaving me, i'll go with Jack, seeya!" Zach says sarcastically and we all laugh. Daniel quickly runs behind them, clearly not wanting to third wheel with me and Jonah.
"Guess i'm thrid wheeling today" Corbyn looks up from under his eyelashes and I giggle.
"Come on, you guys haven't seen each other in a while. Maybe if we find the girls somewhere, i'll tag along with them so you two can talk?" I suggest but Jonah quickly shakes his head.
"Not happening, I'm not letting you" He simply says, sticking out his hand for me to grab it.
"Can I please also hold your hand Jonah?" Corbyn pouts and Jonah laughs.
"Sure my love, come on!" Jonah rolls his eyes and the three of us walk into the mall.

"YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO MAKE A PROBLEM OUT OF ANYTHING!"
"THAT'S NOT TRUE, I'M JUST TELLING THE TRUTH!"
We've only been in the car for a good minute, or Corbyn is arguing with his girlfriend. I don't know about what. Do I want to know? Honestly? I feel Jonah tense up next to me in the backseat and I can see Jack's knuckles whiten around the steering wheel. He's biting his inner cheek, sometimes glancing into the small mirror next to Jonah, at Corbyn. Christina called shotgun before we left, what makes them screaming to each other a lot worse and chaotic. Jonah's head dips down and his lips brush past my ear.
"I'm so glad we just talk normally to each other" He whispers and I quickly smack his leg.
"Don't Jonah, not nice" I mutter and try to focus on the view. Suddenly Jack bursts out.
"CAN YOU BOTH PLEASE SHUT THE HELL UP!" He screams to the both now shocked people. Christina quickly sits back in her seat, while Corbyn moves to the window, further away from Jonah. I roll my eyes smallish, earning a giggle from Jack. As I look at him, I see him glancing at me through the mirror.
"I'm going back home" We hear Christina say as she crosses her arms. Jonah gasps.
"You can't do that, tomorrow is Zach's birthday!" Corbyn says aggressively.
"You know what! WATCH ME!" She yells back but Jack pushes her back to her seat as she tries to move again.
"Can you stop yelling at each other for one single time! It's not what it was between you guys like before" Jacks softens his voice and now the whole car is quiet again. I don't know what this is about and again, it's none of my business.

"I thought they loved each other?" I say as I put some toothpaste on my toothbrush. Jonah pulls his sleeping shirt over his head and sighs deeply.
"They do, it's just not the same anymore between those two" He says. Does he literally thinks I will understand him when he says something wavy like that. How am I suppose to know what goes on between them?
"What do you mean?" I say, starting to brush my teeth.
"They've been in a relationship for almost 5 years now. Turns out Christina has other plans about the future than him. He doesn't want to settle too much yet" Jonah says simply. I frown. Is he talking about babies or marriage?
"She wants kids within 2 years, Corbyn is too childish for that, he's physically not ready to be dad!" Jonah smiles, probably imagining Corbyn with a baby.
"When they both found out they wanted different things from their relationship, it went downhill. I personally think it's healthier if they break up" Jonah starts also brushing his teeth. We both stand still, looking into the mirror at us both. As I finish and rinse my mouth, I take my pill.
"I think it's a shame those two arguing so much. But that's probably because I never really argued with Archie". It's been a long time not talking about him, bringing up his name again makes us both tense.
"Let's just go to bed, tomorrow is indeed Zach's birthday and I want to be fresh" Jonah says, slightly grabbing my hips and kissing my neck. I close my eyes and let my head fall to his chest. Why does he always smells so good? As we both walk back into the bedroom, we see Corbyn sitting on our bed. Fresh tears on his cheeks and reddish eyes look up at Jonah.
"Aw man we fucked up!" Corbyn cries and I take a step back. Is he talking about Christina and him? Jonah grabs his friend, hugging him and patting him harshly on the back. I notice it's my time to leave the room and give them some space. As I enter the hallway, I hear Daniel talking sweetly to Christina. Zach and Kay are probably both asleep. I roll my eyes slightly, I rudely enough just wanted to sleep and cuddle with Jonah. People and they're drama, always in my way. I notice i'm rude against them in my thoughts, but that's only because I only know them for like 1 day. Corbyn seems like a cool friend, I like talking to him. I also appreciate his friendship with Jonah and the others. But mostly with Jonah. Where does Corbyn has to live when he breaks up with Christina? Why does that kind of weird questions always fly through my mind. I just sit down against the door, waiting for them to finish talking. No, I do have respect for Corbyn.

"Can't sleep?" Jack says, as he walks up the stairs. I quickly scan his face. Is he dumb? I clearly got kicked out because of his boy Corbyn fighting with his girlfriend.
"I surely can, don't worry!" I giggle and I see his leaning against his door. Please, just let everyone go inside their own rooms so I get my rest!
"You and Jonah are cute, I like you two" He says lowly.
"Thanks! Also thank you for letting me sleep here, I appreciate how kind y'all are for new people!" I say softly. He grins and sits down also, his back against the wall across of mine.
"That's because we're humble, we met a lot of new people when we were a band. When every now and then we got girlfriends, it was important everyone threatened them okay, just letting them feel comfortable!" Jack smiles. Did Jonah has girlfriends before me? Not like in the far past, but just in the past?
I say thanks you again to Jack, seeing him smile to me.
"I think i'm going to check on those love birds inside my room" I joke, signing behind me and Jack laughs.
"Goodnight!" He says and I turn around, seeing him sweetly looking at me.
"Goodnight" I almost whisper and open the door in front of me.

"You've got to be kidding me?!" I say harshly, making Jack quickly running back to see what I mean.
"Want to sleep over in my room?" He jokes and I frown. I guess there is no other option left huh Dawn? Jonah knows you're one humble bitch.
