Chapter 2

(Y/N):

I opened my eyes to see that I was not dead but rather I WAS IN SOMEONE'S ARMS?! I looked up to see a tan face with black hair covering a part of a red mask. Who the hell is this guy?? I thought. The man set me down and I found I was almost his height. Then I saw he had on a black cloak and black guard pants. I saw his shirt was slightly torn around the edges and middle like he'd been in multiple fights and he was dangerously close to my face. "Uh-uh umm..." I started to stutter. "Oh sorry! Am I too close? I just haven't seen a girl this pretty in a while." He said in a deep voice that was slightly less gravely the Garroth's then he mumbled something I couldn't hear. "Then you haven't seen Aphmau yet," I muttered softly under my breath. "Whose Aphmau?" the stranger asked. "How the hell did you hear that?!" I looked at him curiously. Then I realized what he was wearing, Shadow Knight clothes, and I stepped back slightly, nervous. Laurence yelled from not too far into the distance, "(Y/N)! You're okay!" Then he caught up to me, smiling he hugged me tight like he didn't want to let me go, "I couldn't bear to lose you! Neither could Garroth! He is you're big brother after all! I think now's the time I should tell you something-".  The stranger cleared his throat and Laurence looked at him. Laurence let go of me when he noticed the stranger and the stranger asked, "Where'd she fall from?" Then Laurence quickly grabbed my wrist, realizing what the stranger was wearing as well, and pulled me away, or at least tried to pull me away. The stranger yanked me out of Laurence's grasp, wrapped one of his arms around me protectively and put his purple broadsword's tip to my throat. Where  the hell did he get that sword?! I didn't see it earlier! I screamed in my head. "Don't move! Or she gets her pretty little throat slit, and we wouldn't want that now would we?" The stranger growled. "Why the hell do you want her?" Laurence asked angrily, his hand on his sheathed sword's hilt. "I'll let her go if you promise not to let ANYONE know I'm here. Not even your 'lord'." The stranger retorted and glared at Laurence. "I'm here to investigate a problem." The stranger said before Laurence could ask why he was here. "The Shadow Knights..." I muttered. "How'd you fucking know?!" the stranger scoffed. How'd he hear me?! I thought. "That's what my brother was talking about to us before I fell," I finally said while glancing at Laurence. The stranger set his sword down then pushed me into Laurence. "Tell anyone I'm here and she's dead, and trust me, if she dies,  there will be GRAVE consequences." then the stranger started to walk towards the forest. Laurence tried to follow him, but I grabbed his arm before he could. Then I looked Laurence straight in the eye and asked, "What does he mean there will be grave consequences?! What's so special about me other than you know what?!." Laurence looked at me and gasped "Garroth didn't tell you?? Shit." "Didn't tell me what?" I asked him angrily. "I'll let him tell you himself since it's family business and I'm only your best friend." I let go of Laurence and started to run back to the guard tower with him chasing after me. Somehow, I outran him and beat him to the guard tower, but along the way I got super strange and horrified looks from people in the town. But Laurence being a quick thinker yelled up to Garroth that I was okay, and I was coming up an I was probably slightly pissed, and he was right, I am pissed. I felt a small ping on my head then I shouted at Garroth "What the fuck are you hiding from me? What have you not told me?" He looks at me surprised and asked who told me he was hiding something. "L- I have my ways..." I eventually said. "Come on, we need to talk..." Garroth said, while pulling me down to the bottom of the tower and he told Laurence, who was leaning against the door frame to come with us.

So was that enjoyable? So yeah..... but what do you think Garroth's gonna tell you? It's kinda weird, but it will be explained so don't worry. Also don't worry I'm not gonna turn you into some super san badass but I really want to, so I'll do something close so I will.

Edit: So, I went back and edited this and I changed some dialouge and I know I messed up two of Aaron's colors on his clothes so I went back and changed it to it's proper colours don't worry!
