Cadenza was screaming and bouncing up and down when I told her Laurence and I were getting married and fangirled when I showed her the ring. Garroth, for some reason, comes down and when he saw Cadenza's state and gave me a look of confusion so, I explained the situation, but instead of calming her down, he went into the same state and I just shook my head. I rolled my eyes and turned to Cadenza and asked, "Hey Cade, can you make me my wedding dress and Laurence his suit if he doesn't have one?" Cadenza basically tackled me when she said, "Yes! I would love too! Making Donna's was so fun and it turned out SO PRETTY!!'' I nodded and Cadenza added, "Now I have TWO dresses to work on!" I looked confused but Cadenza didn't acknowledge it and neither did Garroth. I shook my head and headed upstairs to break the news to everyone else while Cadenza already started to draw designs for my dress.
After telling the village of the good news I saw a boat arrive in the harbor, so me being me, I ran towards it with my (F/C) sword out just in case. I saw a woman with blue hair drop down from the ship I grinned, sheathed my sword, and ran to her, my chest plate banging against my chest as she saw me. Once I reached her she pulled me into a hug and I cried, "Katelyn! It's been so long!" She nodded and agreed and once she let go she asked, "How are you? What's new?" I laughed and said, "Well Laurence and I are.....engaged..." "WHAT?!!?" Katelyn was surprised, I mean she knew I had feelings for him but she didn't know or think he felt the same way as me at all. I smiled, "Yeah, we haven't been engaged for long and we just told the village today," "Cadenza already has plans for your dress I'm guessing?" I nod and ask, "So what brings you here Katelyn?" "Well, Aph said she needed me here for some reason, a new villager who used to be a threat?" "Do you think you can stay for the wedding?" I asked, hoping she could! "Well, it depends on when the wedding is," Katelyn replied hopefully, "As soon as we can get the basic stuff, clothes made, and decorations made, and a venue which shouldn't be hard if Laurence and I work hard!" I told her, and she glared at me and said, "YOU ARE NOT DOING THAT ALL BY YOURSELF!" "Why?" I asked, and she said, "Not everyone can do everything (Y/N)" "I know...but-" She put a gloved finger to my lips, sighed and said, "I know your background, and what you've achieved but STILL! Let some people help you!" "Fine..." I said reluctantly. She nodded and said, "Well let's go let Aph know I'm here!" I nodded and we headed off.
I headed down to Cadenza's house to check on everything and I saw two sketches on her desk:
