On with the actual story now, im just super tired writting this chapter bc some computer shiz, thank you for understanding it's quality bc of this.

-2 Months Later-

Nightmares. I knew it was a nightmare, but strangely it was a lucid nightmare. I looked up to see that the sky was red with small hints of blue in small patches. I looked down to see I was Aph's house on the hill, but it wasn't purple and white, it was red and black. Thoughts of fear started to run through my head. I hear an ear piercing scream and turn to see black shadows with red glowing eyes setting fire to the village! I run down the stone stairs but I'm stopped by someone. I look at them in the face and it's Gene, grinning, his eyes red as blood. I start to shrink a bit in fear and he just chuckled and grabbed my wrist forcefully saying, "Finally! Now that I've found you, our new king can finally have all he requires to conquer the overworld!" My eyes widen and he pulls me past all the destruction but slowly so I can see everything. The blood, the bodies, the debris, everything. It was horrifying. I tried willing myself to kick Gene and... IT WORKED! I kicked Gene and he let go of me. I popped my ears and tail out so my skills were enhanced and bolted trying to find Laurence, Aph, my brothers, and the boys. I turned the corner and there I see Garroth and Zane slaying innocent villagers! I screamed when I a took closer look and saw it was Zoey and Lucinda. My scream caught their attention. Garroth half turned to me slowly and I got more scared. His eyes were blood red too and I saw no mercy in those eyes. It scared me to death. Garroth turned the rest of his body to me and when he saw it was me, he grinned then he started to run after me, Zane quickly followed suit. I ran as fast as I could. They chased me to Ungrith's grave where I used my voice to lose them. I ran and hid behind the grave, trying to catch my breath.  A shadow cast over me and I saw it was Dante and Gene. "YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!" I yelled at them as I got up to run but Dante pinned my to the back of the grave and said, "I always knew you were drop dead gorgeous, I can see why our king wants you so DAMN bad!" I spit in Dante's face and said, "Well, your king won't get me, I'll keep running, and running away, no matter what you do, I'll escape!" I snapped at him. Gene turned to me his face contorted in anger and he slapped me across the face leaving a mark, but I didn't respond to it, after all I've been beaten before. "Now why did you do that my little minion?" A familiar voice chuckled. Gene and Dante's faces got a fearful face and turned around to see who was talking. I caught a glimpse and I saw Laurence, as a full shadow knight: (Not Laurence exactly I know)

He looked extremely pissed off at Gene and Dante. He pushed them aside and took my slapped cheek into one of his cold gloved hands and saw the mark Gene had left. He got extra pissed off. He turned his head, his arms still pinning me, and yelled at the two, "I SPECIFICALLY SAID, NO MATTER WHAT SHE SAYS, NO MATTER WHAT SHE DOES, TO NOT HURT HER! I GIVE YOU A SIMPLE ORDER AND THIS IS WHAT YOU DO?! HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT YOUR KING AND HIS QUEEN!" My eyes widened but I managed to slip away somehow while they were distracted and ran as fast as possible. I ran up to Aphmau's house. I turned my head to see they weren't there. I turn my head forward again and Laurence is right in front of me. "Did you think you could escape me, my love? Well..." He kissed me gingerly then kissed my neck and murmured, "Nice try but I simply love you too much to let you escape me... you will be mine, forever, we'll rule at each other's side." I moved his head to look at me, pretending to be calm and alright even though I was terrified on the inside, and asked, "You care about me right? And my happiness?" He nodded and I said, "This.... all of this" I spread my arms out and twirled to signal I'm talking about the destruction, "This is making me depressed. The future you want for us, for me, I don't want. It will make me angry, resentful, feeling destroyed inside...I CAN'T LIVE LIKE THIS!" He gave me puppy dog eyes when he looked at the ground and said, "Well if I can't have you, then NOBODY CAN!" He charged at me with his sword and said, "I'm sorry, my love!" I tried to block. I backflipped into a tree and hopped to the roof of Aph's house. I looked and couldn't see Laurence. Then I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen. I look down to see a red broadsword through my stomach. I fell to my knees and I blacked out.

  I gasped and shot up in bed. "(Y/N) are you okay?!" I turn to see Garroth and Laurence rushing over to me. I look down to see I'm drenched in a light layer of sweat and my sheets are all crumpled. "N-n-nightmare!" I managed to puff out. I looked at Laurence and I noticed a tear roll down my cheek.  Then another rolls down and a few seconds later I'm crying into Laurence's shoulder. "Hey Angel, it's okay, I'm here!" He said trying to calm me down, but it only made it worse. I backed away from him and said, "Y-you're d-dangerous! My n-nightmare... y-you k-k-killed m-me b-be-caus-se I d-didn't w-want to be with y-you in a corrupted world!" His faced dropped and said, "I-I'm sorry...can I give you a hug?" I nodded and opened my arms to him. He stroked my (H/C) hair and I continued to cry for a few more minutes. Once my cries were reduced to sniffles Laurence picked me up bridal style and carried me to Lucinda's house, somehow not dropping me on the magic platforms. He yelled up to Lucinda, "HEY LUCY SOMEONE NEEDS YOUR HELP LIKE NOW!" Lucinda yelled back down, "BRING (Y/N) UP!" H-how did she know it was me? I wondered. Laurence got up there and Lucinda pulled a bed up to her potions station and motioned Laurence to set me down there. Lucinda asked, "So what's wrong sweetheart?" I explained everything to her.

    She looked puzzled then finally said, "Lucid nightmares? I'm pretty damn sure that those don't exist..." "Then explain what just happened," I said sarcastically and lazily. She grinned knowing I was becoming less traumatized by what happened to still have most of my sarcastic personality. "Well...I don't think you or your mind had that dream willingly..." I sat up and looked at Laurence quickly then looked at her and asked while half shrugging with my hand out, "What do you mean by that?" She replied while getting up and starting to make a potion, "I think the demented soul effected you when Levin hit you while you were singing." "Makes sense," I said in a chill manner. Laurence laughed at me and I rolled my eyes while smiling. "Can you fix it? Or at least help treat it?" Laurence asked Lucinda. She nodded and set to work on her potion faster while Laurence sat with me, my head against his shoulder, running the nightmare through my head again. For some reason, it played like a movie in my head.  Wait- is that-? I thought as something flickered by in the corner of my eye/ mental screen. I mentally rewinded and I was right! I could see Aaron staring at me through the doorway of the guard tower I fell from. I gasped. Laurence and Lucinda looked at me and I said, "I replayed the nightmare in my head and during the second run,... I s-saw Aaron in the doorway of the guard tower..." Lucinda almost dropped what was in her hands. She quickly got back to work while Laurence grabbed my hands and asked, "Are you sure about that? (Lol I immediately think of the John Cena meme) Are you sure you actually saw Aaron?" I nodded and he sighed and pulled me into a hug, which I quickly hugged back. We stayed like that until Lucinda gave me a potion and said, "This SHOULD work but if it doesn't, tell me and I'll make a stronger (Than You, lol jk) one." I nodded and quickly downed it. Laurence spent the rest of the day together, after explaining the situation to Garroth and Aph, and went on a small picnic. After that, I went to sleep, but it was light and restless, for a while but eventually, it became restful.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII have no clue where I went with that or, WHERE THE HELL THE IDEA FOR THIS CHAPTER CAME FROM BUT WHATEVES! IT WORKS JUST FINE! Oh and at the time this is released, it's spring break for me, so shout out to all of yall that have spring break rn too!
