Shadow's Love (Laurence x Reader MCD)

Your Birthday!

Real quick I just want to say that this is the last chapter to the story before its "completed" and it's going to be a one-shot like the last chapter, and 2 is a Sans x Reader is coming out soon! My friend Inksansgril31 said I should so I am! I don't know when the first one is released but hopefully soon!

(F/C) = Favorite Color

(F/B/F) = Favorite Breakfast Food

(S/F/C) = Second Favorite Color

     I opened my eyes to light streaming through our room curtains. I blinked a few times and sat up. You remembered today is your birthday!...and the promise Laurence made on his...you were kinda excited, to be honest! You looked around the room and saw that Laurence wasn't in bed with me. I smile and get up and out of bed and changed into some clothes Cadenza made for me to wear on my birthday. (The red is your (F/C), I love this outfit so damn much!)

    I brushed off some dust that had collected in the week and a half since I got it. I climbed down and the smell of (F/B/F) hit me. I walked into the kitchen and there was Laurence, cooking (F/B/F). I snuck up behind him and gave him a hug. He was a little shocked but untensed when he realized it was me! "Happy Birthday sweetheart!" He said as he turned to face me. He gave me a quick kiss on the lips and went back to cooking. "Love you!" He said, I grinned and said, "I love you more!" I giggled back. A few minutes later he plated the food and put it on the table, one in front of me and one at his place. After we were done eating, he pushed some (F/C)-wrapped presents and said excitedly, "Open them!" I nodded and smiled at him. I opened the packages to reveal a book I told Emmalyn I wanted so bad, a new dagger with a sheath, and a locket. I opened the locket and saw a purple crystal on one side and a picture of you and Laurence on the other. "What's the crystal amulet?" I asked him. "It's a special locket! Lucinda helped me make it. It's a communication amulet and a locket just in case you need to reach me or anyone else!" Laurence told me as he held my hand.  My eyes started to tear up and I whispered, "T-thank y-you Laurence!" and gave him a hug. After I let go of him he put the locket on my neck and gave me the sheathed dagger and I put it on my waist. I grabbed the book and Laurence and I went to the park and we read the book on a bench.

     A few chapters in a saw a silhouette appear in front of us. I put the book down and Laurence and I looked up and saw it was Garroth and Aphmau. I smiled and said, "Hey guys! What's up?" Garroth and Aphmau smiled and said, "We wanted to give the birthday girl her presents!" "Aww, you guys didn't have too!" I told them but they retorted with, "Well Garroth wants to because you're his sister and Aph wants to because you are my best friend!" I gave them a funny look and said, "You're not gonna leave me alone until I let you guys give me your gifts aren't you?" and they nodded. I sighed and said, "Fine because I know we all have stuff to do later." They cheered and smiled at me and I playfully rolled my eyes. They gave me 2 packages, one wrapped in (F/C) and one in (S/F/C). I opened the (F/C) one to reveal a new armor set in (F/C). I opened the (S/F/C) package to find another book. I read the cover and saw it was a history of Irene and the Divine Warriors and their powers. I looked and saw Emmalyn wrote it! I looked up to Aphmau with happy wide eyes. "Emmalyn wrote this?" I asked her and she nodded. I got up and hugged them both (Garroth and Aphmau). Laurence tapped my shoulder and said, "Hey (Y/N), it's almost sunset, it's our turn for patrol." I nodded and let go of Garroth and Aphmau and headed with Laurence on patrol.

     After a few hours, Laurence stopped me right in-between the sunset and the waterfall. He turned to me and took my hands in his and asked, "How amazing was this birthday?" I sighed happily and said, "AMAZING!" Laurence grinned and said, "Well I have one more gift (Y/N)..." "What is it?" I asked him. "This!" He said quickly and kissed me very romanticly (I can't describe it any other way lol) He moved his hand to the back of my neck and dipped me slightly and kissed me deeper. It was very romantic with the sunset and the waterfall. A minute or so later we parted and I just smiled at him and realized I was still in my dip. I stood up and hugged him. "That was an amazing last gift, Laurence!" I told him. He smiled and said, "Good since you're the best thing that ever happened to me!" I laughed and said, "You are still the cheesy Casanova I have ever met!" We laughed and finished patrol and headed home. 

I swear to god this is the CHEESIEST chapters I have ever wrote! Also, I know this one is a bit more detailed than the last but whatever, I had a bit more inspiration for this one! This is the last chapter for this story and after this is published the story will be considered complete! Bye everyone! See ya next fanfiction!
