A/N: So look, I know this is a LAURENCE X READER and not a GENE X READER or SHAD X READER (Do those even exist?) but don't worry, there's a reason for everything I do okay? Also sorry this is taking forever. Okay, on with the godamn story

(S/N/N) =Special Nickname

(L/O/H)= Length of Hair

(F/H)= Favorite Hairstyle

Gene(The ironic thing about this is I was listening to something with Alejandro Saab (Gene's voice) in it while writing till Shad)

Once the light faded, I looked around to see a Zane and blonde men lying on the ground with  Aphmau lying a few feet away from the guys. I look down to see (Y/N) struggling trying to break from my grasp. The spell worked! I thought happily. I barked to 3 other Shadow Knights, "HEY! COME HELP ME OVER HERE! WE NEED TO GET THESE 4 TO SHAD RIGHT AWAY!" They immediately rushed over to help me. After a few minutes we had managed to drag the 3 and I had managed to make (Y/N) stop struggling against me, we came up to a throne room. The other Shadow Knights threw the other 3 on the floor in front of the throne while I still held onto (Y/N), not knowing what she could or would do.  A tall man in the throne said, "Good job Gene, you managed to get the girl and 3 others,.... this is perfect...." That man was Shad, and he looked up and at me straight in the face, and, I realized he looked like Aaron,... speaking of which, He should have been in the group!! Where the hell is he?!?!  I thought worriedly, He's a powerhouse of strength and power,... OH NO, OH NO, THIS IS FUCKING BAD!  I screamed in my head. Shad looked at me curiously the looked at (Y/N), and said, "Heh. she's as sure as hell a cutie, she's very beautiful, she'd produce some good looking kids." I looked disgusted then he said, "Later, turn her into a half Shadow Knight on my command, I want her to still be half human so if I decide to have a child with her, it might have my Divine powers, but for now you're excused, I want some time with her." I shook my head no and said, "She could do anything to you, and we can't risk it," Well that was half true, I didn't want him to do anything to her with them alone. He nodded and said, "Okay for this case, you shall be my personal guard for the day," I nodded and set (Y/N) next to him, then moved the others into a cell we had in the throne room,(Don't ask) then went back to grab (Y/N) but Shad held her bridal-style in his lap. I did a quick glare at him but just walked to a pillar and leaned against it while Shad went on with his business,(Y/N) quickly got bored and fell asleep or so it looked she might have gotten knocked out because he looked like he gave her something, and curled up against him. I growled and wish I was the one she was curled up against, but that would never happen... I mean if she didn't accept me the first time, who's to say she will now?

My instincts lead me to a massive dark oak door, and immediately thought, Shit, because this was the door to the throne room were the Shadow Lord is, I look behind me to see Nicole and Dante behind me, but no sign of Aaron, Shit, that's bad.... (To anyone who DOESN'T know what I'm doing then.....*sigh* you're in for a treat and a bit of a spoiler for season 3 of MCD. DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU!) "You guys ready?" They nodded  but Nicole went up to me and put her hand on my shoulder, with a growl from Dante, then said, "Laurence, she's fine..... plus she has her power to protect her if it comes down to it okay?" I nodded then busted the door open with a kick, and my Shadow Knight form got worse because I saw (Y/N) on his lap in his arms bridal style and she looked like she'd been given a sleeping drug. Gene looked at us in fear then anger then fear again. The Shadow Lord had his head down looking at (Y/N) then looked up, and he had the face of Aaron, Wait.... is Aaron Shad?  I thought, He smiled and said with a bit of edge at the end, "Hello Laurence, long time no see eh?"

A/N: THIS TOOK SO DAMN LONG TO FUCKING WRITE PLUS REAL LIFE INTERRUPTIONS AND YOUTUBE STREAMS AND MUSIC~SENPAI AND JUST UUUUUGGGGGHHHH! I'm so sorry for not updating, I'll try to update more.... also am I the only author who has problems with the goddamn bolding?
