This is about 5 or 6 months after the wedding and you decide to surprise Laurence for his birthday, awwwwww! Also during the writing of the last chapter, I stopped writing that for 2 reasons, one being that I'm going to write a Sans x Reader! My friend Inksansgril31 pushed me too, the second being that I had watched Rebirth Pt 1. and I was just utterly...basically mentally destroyed. Anyways on to the chapter!

     You woke up earlier then everyone else, thankfully, because if not you're plans would be ruined more or less! You carefully and quietly got up and pulled on an (F/C) tee-shirt and cargo camo shorts. You stepped out of the barracks and quickly stepped into the kitchen and started making Laurence's favorite breakfast food. After 20 minutes, you start to get a tray ready and set a mini glass vase with green flowers you found yesterday and set it on the tray. A few minutes later you put the finished food onto the tray and walked it into the barracks and headed up to the floor where Laurence and I sleep until our house gets finished in a few weeks. You walked to the bed you shared and set the tray on the bedside table and shook him awake. He turned to me, "(Y/N)? Huh? Whadda ya doing?" He sat up and took the tray and put it on his lap as I explained, "Well I brought you breakfast-in-bed!" He smiled genuinely and asked, "It's for my birthday right?" I nodded and smiled. I sat down next to him and hugged him before he ate. "Wait here," I said as he started to eat. "I'll be right back." I walked out of the room and into one of the cells and grabbed his presents from the chest in there. I ran back up while hiding the emerald green wrapped presents behind my back. I walked up to him and said playfully, "Close your eyes!" He obliged and I sat down next to him, handing him the presents. "Open ya eyes!" He opened up his eyes and they widened when they saw the shapes of the presents. "Are they for me?" He asked and I nodded, "Yep!" and smiled. He opened them to reveal a new sword and shield. His eyes widened even more. "Do you like them?" I asked nervously. "Like em? I love them!" He exclaimed and hugged me tightly. He whispered, "I'm gonna outdo you on your birthday!" I laughed and said, "Well I have one more gift I dunno if you can outdo!" He raised an eyebrow and gave him one last square thin package. "OPEN IT!" I said excitedly and he opened it. He smiled and I could've sworn I saw his eyes look watery. It was a picture of him, Cadenza, and I as teenagers in Meteli back when his hair was orange and he was the head guard and I was second in command. "Try beating that..." I whispered to him. "I'll try,..." he whispered back. I smiled and hugged him back tightly. I heard a knock on the door and went to answer. "Yeah? 
Who is it?" I asked. "It's me, Nicole, Aph wants to see Laurence." "I'll be out in a moment!" Laurence called back when I turned to him. I nodded and left the room so he could change into clothes. After he was done I put his hand in mine and walked him to Aph's house and left him at the door and walked back to help Donna.

    After a few hours later Laurence came into our room while I was reading. He came up and hugged me and sat down next to me. "Have a good birthday love?" I asked and he nodded and dug his head into my neck and read my book with me over my shoulder. "What book are you reading?" "A mystery," I smiled back to him. He nodded and said, "Can't wait for your birthday, I wanna make your birthday more special than mine!" I put my book down and turned to him and said, "Aww Laurence you don't have too!" "But I want too!" He said to me. I smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek and said, "I'm gonna head to bed, you gonna go to sleep too?" He nodded and we headed to sleep, cuddled up next to each other. Dreams came easily.

Yay yeesh! I wanted to write more but I didn't exactly have an idea for what else to write! Oh well, see yall soon for the next one-shot to end the story!
