Shadow's Love (Laurence x Reader MCD)

Their Explanations

So, I'm having a bit of a dilemma, I dunno how to go about their explanations, but 

Laurence is going last because I have a surprise planned ( ;)).

(Y/N) = Your Name

(N/N) = Nickname

(F/C) = Favorite Color

(H/C) = Hair Color

(S/N/N) =Special Nickname

(L/O/H)= Length of Hair

(F/H)= Favorite Hairstyle

I will add more as the story goes on!

(Y/N):

         We stepped out of the portal, everyone a bit shook by the events that just took place. Dante and Nicole were so shaken up, that they said they would need more help guarding because they aren't completely there.  I nodded in understanding and asked Laurence and Gene to help, and I'll ask questions later. They agree and heads off with them. Then I turned to the rest, some tears in my eyes because Aaron was Shad and I had killed him. My old lord, and friend. Aph came up to me and hugged me and said, "You didn't know..... neither did we..." I looked at her and said, "I was his head guard!" I raised my voice almost to a yell, "I SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE SIGNS EARLIER!" Zane looked down at the ground slightly guilty. I saw this out of the corner of my eye but didn't do anything, for I knew he was partly to blame. Aph and Garroth looked at me in fear of my anger. I let go off Aph (I'm making Aph more nice to~insert Lenny face~you now that she's seen and found out what's happened to you and another reason ~insert another Lenny face~ .) and said sincerely, "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to snap at you guys." Garroth took me into a hug and once he let go he said, "Don't worry, it wasn't your fault, and we never really thoroughly explained anything to you..." I looked at him and said, "You got that right!" He smiled at my sarcasticness.  "Can you start now?" I asked. Zane said, "Yes... yes we can." Aphmau and Garroth smiled and nodded. I brought them to the guard tower. I sat them down and started making jasmine tea, and while I was making it, I said, "So, start talking..." Garroth cleared his throat and they started to explain everything they could.

           "You remember the story of Irene and the Divine Warriors right? (I'm gonna make it up, bc I don't remember what Aph said)" Garroth asked me. Without looking at them, I nodded. He continued, "How Irene and Shad, her lover and fellow Divine Warrior, realized that they couldn't live forever like they thought they could, so they decided that they would have kids and give some of their power to certain children. Then they figured out how to become gods, even though they were already considered ones." I finished the tea and put it on a tray and brought it all to the group. I gave everyone a cup, then with my own and sat down, while listening to the rest. "And this happened for generations,... eventually leading to us 4 and Aaron," Aphmau said. "Irene and Shad being immortal gods, decided our powers at birth. She gave me, massive healing powers, strong enough to raise the dead, (If you haven't caught on yet, I've basically mashed all the MCD seasons together, and using parts I remember, which isn't that much) Garroth got additional strength, Zane got the ability to create and control magical objects. While you-" Aphmau added. Zane cut her off with saying, "You got the ability to use your voice in more way than one. You can sing certain things to give you special abilities and when friends or people on your side sing, you grow stronger, and you can sound like anything and anyone." Garroth added, "You already knew about your singing, I heard you and Laurence while you were fighting Shad but not your other voice ability" I looked down at the ground, with my now empty teacup in my hand and out of embarrassment, my ears and tail popped out. Aphmau looked in awe at my ears. I saw her amazed face and smiled. I looked outside to see it was around 8. Zane got up, and said, "We best be heading to our respective houses, especially you Aph, I'm pretty sure Levin and Malachi are waiting for you." She nodded and left. Garroth asked, "Hey, that was a lot to take in, you gonna be okay?" I nodded and said, "Yeah, just need to process it and sleep, because I'm hella tired." I smiled slightly. I got up and went to the bunks. I changed into pajamas and went to sleep without noticing Garroth and Laurence had slipped in and watched me sleep protectively.

    -The Next Day- 

      I woke up with a start, then I remembered I never interrogated Laurence. Shit! I need to do that today! I thought. I sat up and I saw Laurence was hunched over his sword, polishing it. "Hey," I said to him in my morning voice, smiling. He looked over to me blushing slightly and smiling. "Morning Sunshine!" He said back. "I never got to interrogated you yesterday," I said as I got up. He laughed and said, "That's because you were so tired from what happened in the Nether and I was busy helping out guarding!" I laughed with him then realized Laurence and I were the only ones there. "Where's everyone else?" "They're all out doing something." He replied. I nodded then asked, "After I get dressed and eat, can we head out so I can 'interrogate' you?" He nodded. He got up and walked out of the room and I changed. 

    I walked out and Laurence grabbed me by my hand and we walked to the forest while blushing, and we got to a small clearing near the guard tower. We sat down and he started to talk.  Finally, he said, "You remember that I'm a Shadow Knight right?" I nodded and he continued, "And you remember that it was to save Aphmau right?" I nodded and a wave of jealousy came over me and I snarled at him, "Don't tell me, it's because you're in love with her. Don't deny it, because EVERY TIME I come to help you when she starts to flirt with you, you never push her off, you never tell her to stop!" I look down on the ground and he looked at me slightly guilty because he knew I was right, but not right about all of it. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me up then he grabbed my chin and made me look at him and asked in a bit of a more flirty tone of voice, "That's not all true sweetheart. So, can I ask you something?" I nodded at him and then, making me blush, he seductively whispered in my ear, "Will you go on a date with me?" He let go of my chin and I looked down at the ground and my (L/O/H/) (H/C) hid my smile and I said in a slightly under neutral tone, "Are you serious?" I saw through my hair him smiling and he said, "Yeah, I've been in love with you, not Aph." I looked up at him then I hugged him and, making him blush, replied, "Yes, yes I will!" He looked surprised and said, "Wait! Are you serious?!" I nodded and said, "Yes! I've been in love with you for the longest time, I just never told you because I was too scared you'd reject me and our friendship would be ruined!" He hugged me and pet my hair in a cute way, (I have an image in my head and that's the best I can do to describe it) and said, "How about a picnic at the waterfall tomorrow?" I nodded then he let me go and said, "I've got to head out to patrol, see you tomorrow?" I smiled and said, "See ya tomorrow!" Then headed back to the guard station.

     I opened the door to the station and was met by Gene and Dante. I smiled and said, "Hey guys!" "Sup, (N/N)!" Dante said and Gene nodded and waved to me. "Why are you blushing?" Gene asked me. I realized I was still blushing from Laurence and I's encounter. Gene grew a massive smile and asked, ''DID LAURENCE ASK YOU ON A DATE?!" I grew a deeper hue on my cheeks and nodded. I rolled my eyes playfully at Gene and Dante's reaction and went to sleep. I opened the door and came face to face with Nicole. She said, "I heard Gene's question! What the hell is the answer?" "I said yes to him." Nicole started fangirling. "Cadenza and Kawaii~Chan are gonna be so fucking excited when they find out! They ship you guys so damn hard!" Nicole told me. "What about Aph?" I asked. "Aph only flirted with Laur to make you jealous and speed up your relationship because she ships you two as well." "Well, it worked!" I laughed. "Well I'ma head to sleep," I told her. She nodded and I headed to bed.

So, I've become more chill on cuss words recently because I feel like, cussing doesn't really have a place in the semi-serious situations I make, so once the battle and explaining was done I started to pick up on it again! I have an amazing idea for the date, because of a one-shot I read yes I do get a lot of ideas from one-shots, and will start working on it ASAP!
