Cadenza walked into the guard station looking for Laurence and Garroth but found me instead with my hair down and she exclaimed, "(Y/N)! Your hair!" "I know, I did that on fucking purpose." I replied nonchalantly. She nodded happily but she frowned when I asked if Laurence was hiding anything. "I can't tell you that, only he can." She said. Uuuggghh! Will nobody tell me fucking anything?! I screamed in my head. I noticed Cadenza had a bag on her arm and I asked what it was for. She replied, "Well, Zane's coming to town soon, and I was giving the guys new formal wear for his arrival party!" I sighed in relief because she didn't mention dresses for me or Nicole, the other girl guard. ''Buuuuuutt!" She continued, God damn it. Jinxed it. "I have an (F/C) and white/black (Whichever one goes better) dress for you and a red and black dress for Nicole!" She squealed, "The dresses are so cute!! I hope you like yours because you're going to have to wear it more than once while he's here." "But I'm a guard!" I protested. "Aphmau's orders girl! Aphmau said to wear something underneath just in case." I groaned and Cadenza handed me my dress. It was actually quite beautiful! Laurence then walked in and yelled, "HEY (Y/N)! YOU STILL HERE?" I called back "Yes! We're in the eating area!" He walked in and Cadenza handed him his formal wear explaining why and once she was finished, he turned to me and sat down, a mad expression on his face and he growled, "(S/N/N)," Oh no, he only calls me that when he thinks I'm in a deathly situation. "What's wrong?" I asked. "You were requested to be Zane's personal guard by him himself, so Aphmau and Garroth are fucking forcing you to be his personal guard while he's here." I groaned, then I got an idea, so I asked Laurence, "So, I have to stay with him 24/7?" He nodded, and I grinned because I could carry out my plan. "When does he get here?" I asked. "Tomorrow." A voice said from the guard station door. Laurence and I looked to see Aphmau in her purple dress leaning against the door frame looking at us, grinning, for she knew my plan because Laurence told her. I looked at the clock and saw it was seven-thirty pm and I had to go on patrol. When I came back from patrol, I found a note on the door that leads to the bunks that read, "Hey (N/N), please be careful about Zane. Especially since the Jury has his back. -Laurence" I smiled at his protectiveness and headed to my bunk, and still in my brown dress I fell asleep.
---Time Fucking Skip (Every time I do a time skip I write ship instead of skip!)---
I surprisingly woke up first, so I decided to make breakfast. I'm a good cook, so it's always a treat when I get to make the meals. When I was done making French toast, Laurence and Garroth emerged from the bunk room with Dante and Nicole close behind them. I smiled and motioned to the food and Nicole jumped up and pumped her fist in the air and exclaimed, "YEESS! (N/N) MADE FUCKING BREAKFAST!'' We all laughed at her excitement. After we ate, I asked Nicole if she had any lightweight armor and she surprisingly did.
I donned it then pulled my (F/C) dress over it and she helped lace the back up. "Cadenza went all out on yours, didn't she?" Nicole chuckled when I looked down at it. "She sure as hell did!" I exclaimed. Then my ears popped out and the Nicole put my hair into an (F/H). Dante walked in and said, "Hey (Y/N), he's here." I looked back at Nicole, and she gave me a warm smile and a thumbs up. I breathed a deep breath and grabbed my belt with my sheathed sword and headed to the gate. When I arrived, he chuckled from behind the gate, "So, my request went through." I nodded. Zane looked at my ears and tail, and asked, "So you decided to keep them out?" I remarked, "Yep, now the whole village of Phoenix Drop know that one of us is a werewolf. Won't the Jury get mad?" I grinned. "Since you're my sister, they couldn't have given two shits!" He chuckled. I saw he had his amulet on him. Perfect. I motioned to one of the guards to let him in. He rushed in and hugged me. He whispered in my ear, a bit of sadness in his gravelly voice, "I missed you and Garroth so damn much! Stayed out of trouble, right?" He held me by my shoulders looking at me, "You've grown a tad since I was here last." I looked down and said, "I'm still mad at you for what you did to father." "Reasonable," He said. I looked up, "Come on, I've got to show you where you're staying," I said. I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the guest house Laurence, Cadenza, and I had prepared for him. "You can go change if you want, but the party's not till later," I told him and motioned to his room in the little cottage. He nodded and went to go change into something semi-formal.
