I groaned walking into class.
"I see you decided to join us halfway through class Quinten." Mrs. Whitney our math teacher said stopping class. I took my seat resting my head on my hand as I looked over and saw Kaiden laughing to himself looking at me. I rolled my eyes and watched Mrs.Whitney teach. She was kinda hot for a 35 year old. I'm just glad she keeps her room dark. I can't wait till this fucking hangover is gone. I gritted my teeth at the headache.
"You okay?" The kid next to me asked.
"Who are you? I don't sit next to anyone." I asked wondering if I just forgot or if they moved seats.
"I'm new, my name's Xavier." He smiled
"Yeah yeah." I said rubbing my head from the throbbing blunt pain.
"What happened?" He questioned
"Hennessy happened." I sighed
"Oh okay." He said looking forward. The last half of class was silent. When the bell rang I gritted my teeth at the loud bell. Everyone left class for lunch as I slowly got up from my seat. Kaiden came over and hit my back.
"How much did you drink?" He laughed as we walked out the class.
"The whole thing." I sighed.
"Woah." Kaiden laughed as we entered the cafeteria. We sat at our usual table as Dylan, Jason, and Tyler sat down at the table.
"Dude what's up?" Dylan soiled.
"Just a headache." I groaned
"Hangover again?" Tyler guessed
"Yeah." I groaned
"Sounds like good stuff." Dylan laughed. Jason, Tyler, and Kaiden laughed with him. I rolled my eyes at the incessant laughter.
"Better than vodka." I said flatly
"Woah! Shots fired!" Dylan said faking hurt. He liked vodka better than any other alcohol but I never understood what the fuss was about. The day went along smoothly and boring until the passing period to last hour. A foot ball player , I think his name is Jaylen, pushed Kaiden when he could've gone around.
"Hey." I said pushing Jaylen back. "Got a problem?"
"No but you must have one." He said pushing me back
"You shouldn't have done that." I said looking away yawning
"Why? You think your better than me pretty boy?" He said irritated. I looked back at him and swung my fist around punching him in the face. He grabs the back of my neck and pulls me in close when he rushes his hand towards my stomach. I'd been hit there before but this time it was different. I couldn't move. I coughed and a small drop of blood came out.
"Don't mess with me." He growled before running away. When he left I fell to the floor many kids screaming around me. I grabbed my stomach and looked at my hand. Thick red blood was in my hand. I grabbed my stomach and looked at the ground breathing heavily as I tried to keep my eyes open.
"Quinten! Quinten!" Kaiden yelled his hand on my back. "Someone call 911!" He yelled. I looked over at him and smiled. At least it was me and not someone else. Usually when I think about death it scares me and I have a panic attack but this time I was ready. The kid I sat next to in math was next to me, with Kaiden, on the phone to 911.
"I'm s-sorry." I coughed as blood built up in the back of my throat. I don't know what I was apologizing for but I guess I could've been a better friend to him and everyone else. I laid my arms out and laid down fully on the floor.
"No, No no no! Quinten!" Kaiden cried. "Quinten you can't go!" The pain faded away and everything went dark.

Nothingness, emptiness, no conscious. No awareness of existence or even existing at all. I'm terrified to die and every time I think about it I have panic attacks but this time I'm ready. Maybe because I know I'm about to die or maybe it's because I'm dying for Kaiden. I don't know.
