-Kaiden-

I walked down the hallway laughing with Quinten when Jaylen bumped into me. I turned to say something but Quinten quickly interjected.
"Quinten." I said softly hoping he wouldn't make a scene of something so small. I guess he didn't hear me.
"Hey." Quinten said pushing Jaylen. "Got a problem?"
"No but you must have one." He said pushing Quinten back
"You shouldn't have done that." Quinten said looking away yawning
"Why? You think your better than me pretty boy?" He said irritated. Quinten looked back at him and swung his fist around punching him in the face. He grabbed the back of Quintens neck and pulled him in close. He rushed his hand towards Quintens stomach. He coughed and a small drop of blood came out.
"Don't mess with me." He growled before running away. Kids scrambled and screamed as Quinten fell to the floor. I froze and didn't move. I just stood there like a deer in headlights. After a few second Quinten was on his hands and knees holding his stomach. I quickly got to him and sat on my knees. I put my hand on his back and my other hand on his holding his stomach. A line of blood connected his mouth to the floor as a small pool built up. Tears welled up in my eyes as I cried out.
"Quinten! Quinten! Someone call 911!" I looked around as kids scrambled and many still surrounded taking video. Someone I didn't know got on the floor next to us making sure not to touch any blood. He was on the phone to 911. Quinten looked up at me as tears steamed down my cheeks.
"I'm s-sorry." He said softly before the arm holding him up slowly bent and he lay flat on the ground a pool of blood surrounding him.
"No! No no no! Quinten! You can't go!" I cried. His eyes closed as I pulled him into my lap using my other hand to put pressure on his stomach. "Not yet, please..." I said tilting my head down touching his forehead to mine. The sirens quickly filled the air and I was soon pulled away from Quinten. He was quickly taken away and as they cleared as I sat down in the puddle of blood looking at my hands. They were covered in blood and so were my pants and shirt. I blanked out many times and the rest of the day went like pictures as I spaced out constantly. My mom brought me clothes and I showered at the school. She hugged me tight and took me home. We had dinner but I didn't touch it. I stared at the ceiling all night before passing out at 3:30 AM.
