Kaiden P.O.V
I looked out my frosty window and sighed.
Winter was coming and it was coming quickly.
I shuffled out of my room and into the kitchen.
"Morning sweetheart!" My mom smiled kissing my cheek.
I wiped the saliva off my face and smiled.
"You're eating breakfast with us this morning."
"Nah I'm good."
"That wasn't a question Kaiden."
I smirked and rolled my eyes playfully as I sat down at the table.
"Phil!" My mom yelled.
She used a very different voice then she did with me. I almost felt bad for the guy...
Almost.
"I'm coming woman." He grumbled walking into the kitchen.
"You shouldn't talk to your wife like that." I mumbled
"Say somethin' ?" He grumbled looking at me
"Yeah I did. Maybe if you weren't so deaf you'd hear me." I challenged standing up
"Maybe if you weren't such a delinquent druggy—"
"Phil!" My mother interrupted slamming her hand on the counter.
We both looked up surprised.
"We're gonna have a nice breakfast as a family and we're all gonna enjoy it!"
I nodded my head sitting back down.
Phil sat down with a grunt at the end of the table.
My mom put plates with eggs, bacon, and sausages in front of me and Phil before sitting down with her own.
"How's school? Any nice girls?" My mom smiled
"It's fine and no mom, just no." I sighed.
"Well sorry but I want grandkids!" She smiled
"You have other kids and if I don't recall your daughter is in serious relationship." I pointed out.
"Yeah yeah yeah. You live in this house not her."
Phil stood up quickly and left the room.
"He can never do anything for himself."
Mom got up and took his plate to the sink. She quickly came and sat back down.
"So, how was that party?" Mom smiled
"It was okay."
"Why'd you leave early?"
"I'm not a fan of drunk, thirsty, hoes." I said flatly
"Kaiden!" My mom snapped
"It's true." I chuckled
"I know honey but we can't call them that." She laughed
"Thanks for the food mom. I'm gonna go back to my room."
"You ate, maybe, one piece of bacon. You're not leaving until that plate is empty young man."
I smiled as I began eating.
"Have you, you know, done it with any girls?"
"Mom!" I exclaimed almost choking
"I just wanna be apart of my sons life!" She defended
"If you have to know yes, I have." I sighed embarrassingly
"Have I met her? Or him. You know sweetly there's nothing wrong with being gay it's normal for some boys to like other boys."
"Oh my god moooooom." I groaned hitting my head against the table.
"What?"
"I'm not gay and I like vagina more than a porn star scandal."
"Kaiden! Don't you ever say that again young man!" She yelled smiling
I shoved some food into my mouth.
"You used to be so innocent."
"What's that supposed to mean?" I mumbled my mouth full
"Nothing." Mom smiled taking her plate to the sink.
I got up and followed putting my plate in the sink.
"I'm going to my room."
"Alright sweetie."
I shuffled into my room and fell into my bed.
I look out the window.
It wasn't frosted over any more, partially, and outside it looked like an ice layer. Only Satan would go outside.
I heard my phone ding and I internally sighed contemplating whether or not to answer.
