"So..Your trying to tell me your the actual Hamilsquad?" "I'm sorry, what the hell is that name? It sounds like a disease." Toni said, crossing her arms. "Wait! Do you guys know who you are?! How you died?" "Die-...Died.." A sad smile formed on most of their faces. "Of course w-We..OH MY GOD!" Eliza shouted. grabbing her hair and tugging at it. Alex was trying to calm her down. "I..I don't..I DON'T REMEMBER!" She screamed. Toni paled, the man sighing infront of him. "Lin, was it? I can't remember..Why is that?" "Toni said with a patient smile, the man nervously shrugging. "I..Don't know..But do you want to know?"
Laurens:
"John! Joohn! Where is he?" The girl said, rubbing her face as she scanned the group of soldiers running back to the families, sobs ringing through the streets of those who's families weren't returning. "I..Where is anyone?" The girl's breathing quickened, not recognizing anyone's faces as she ran around. She stumbled out of the woods, having fallen behind everybody. Those around her were smiling and patting her on the back, some thanking her. "..." Her sight blurred, the pain and ache from her body catching up to her as she realized the battle was over. They won. She was home after walking for miles. After helping people, amputating limbs, and getting seriously injured more than she could count. The adrenaline wore off as it finally settled in. She let out a happy scream, her hands flying to the sides of her head as others looked at her. A soldier grabbed her shoulder, smiling kindly before hugging her tightly. "Thank you for your service, Ma'am. You should get back to your family- They must be worried." "I..We are from the late group, yes?" He nodded. "My family...isn't here.." She mumbled, the man sighing with a frown.
A small boy ran over to the two, clutching onto his leg. She then noticed the pant leg was cut short, the man having a fake leg. She gasped, recognizing the stitches designed like small stars. "You..Your that man that got his leg hit with a bayonet!" He chuckled. "Yeah, that's why I came over..To thank you. You saved my life, Ma'am." She grinned widely, crouching down and ruffling the small boys hair as he giggled. "It's not problem, sir..Now go to your family soldier. You've done your job." He smiled, gently kissing her dirty and cut up hand before using a pair of crutches to walk over to his wife. It made her smile, before hearing a loud scream. Her hand flew to her revolver, darting down the street as she ignored the burning in her lungs. A familiar dark haired man was crouched on the ground far off in the distance. She hesitantly got close enough to hear. "How can you tell me she's dead?! My sister, dead! I do not believe it! No! She must have come with the late group- Yes, of course!" Alexander and Lafayette were talking at the same time, making it confusing for the girl to tell who was talking. "Toni would not die to the hands of those..Those pigs." Lafayette hissed, tears burning his eyes as Hercules stared down at him with a frown. The first thing she noticed is the sight of an empty space between Alex and Hercules. No Laurens. "First Laurens..Now this woman..Lafayette's sister, yes?? They will not be forgotten, boys." The man said, the official yellow piece of paper claiming she died being passed to Alex. "Thank you, sir.." Alex muttered, the girl's eyes widening at the sight of General Washington. "He promised...." Toni's breathing hitched, tears forming and pricking her eyes again. She looked up at the sky, almost making out the boys freckled face looking down at her. She let out a choked sob, falling to her knees as the pain became to much to bare. She let out a loud sob, covering her face before stumbling forward and ignoring the pain in her scratched up legs. "MARQUIS!" The man snapped his head up, stumbling up and forward as he wrapped his arms around the girl. She was sobbing heavily, her knees buckling under her as the two held eachother closely. Washington, who was once walking off, turned in surprise. "Is that her?" He questioned, the girl being ripped away from Lafayette and pulled into a hug by Alex and Hercules. "Yes, Sir." Lafayette smiled, the man walking forward and tapping her on the shoulder. She turned, her face changing from a smile to a flustered expression as she curtsied. "General W-Washington, sir!" "George. It's a pleasure to meet you, miss Antoinette..Thank you for serving this country." She grinned. "It's an honor."
