“Oh my gosh!” I squeal as me and Kris leave the orchestra room, me still thumping the music we just heard in my head. “This concert is going to be amazing!” Kris says, me nodding in agreement.
Harry never showed the entire class, making me wonder if he even was in orchestra, or if Mrs. Fox even knew what she was talking about.
“We should get together on Friday to practice!” I suggest, Kris nodding and taking a drink from her water bottle. “Hey, didn’t you say that hair guy was supposed to be in that class?” Just as I’m about to speak up, I hear a British accent behind me.
“Wow. Hair guy, that’s a new one.” Harry walks up to me and Kris, her looking petrified as she looks to the ground. He laughs slightly to ease the mood, but it doesn’t work as Kris keeps silent.
“Where were you?” I think out loud, him pointing to one of the doors. “I was in the courtyard.” I nod, not wanting to question it further. He was probably having sex with one of the many sluts around campus.
“Hey this is my class, I’ll talk you late.” Kris hugs me and runs into a door next to us, leaving me and Harry alone. “What class is next?” He asks, me digging in my pocket and pulling out my schedule.
“Photography!” I squeal, realizing that it’s with James as I pick up my pace. “Why are you walking so fast?” I ignore him and take two stairs at a time, not being able to wait to see him.
I seriously love him too much.
I finally get to the room and swing the door open, seeing James sitting at one of the computers in the front. “James!” I yell, walking over to him. He grins at me as we hug lightly, me seeing Harry walk in.
He has a tired look on his face, but when he sees me hugging James, his face turns cold and his features emotionless as he walks over to us. “James, this is uh…Harry, Harry – James.” I introduce them, James nodding at Harry.
I take my normal seat next to James, Harry starting to sit next to me when he yells out, “Hey! Niall!” He runs off to go talk to Niall as they sit somewhere else, making me sigh in relief.
“Who’s he?” James asks, nodding towards Harry. “He’s someone who pisses me off.” I grumble, him laughing and turning to me. “Why are you hanging out then?” I spare him the details of the entire morning and simply tell him that I was to show him around the school, not giving off any more information than that.
He chuckles slightly as I log into my computer. “Are you ready to graduate?” I nod, but then hesitate as I shake my head. “No, not really…I mean, I was excited for the last three years, but now that it’s coming up, I’m really going to miss you-everyone…”
I feel myself blushing slightly as he nods, typing something on his computer. “Look at all the pictures we have of each other though…” He laughs, going into his file and scrolling through what seems like hundreds of photos.
I laugh dryly. “Yeah, that’s not enough for me.” He stares at my hazel eyes for a second until our teacher walks in.

Halfway through the class, we were told that we could do whatever we wanted for the remaining period, which also happened to be our last.
I noticed Niall every now and then look back to me and James, giving me a hard stare before turning back to Harry and his computer, which slightly confused me, but tried to give no mind to it.
“So, did you meet anyone over the summer?” He asks, raising his eyebrows suggestively. I ignore the small wave of pain that goes through me and give a fake smile.
“I think you can answer that on your own.” He laughs, crinkling his eyes I an adorable way. “Okay, okay. I just want you to be happy, that’s all.”
Then ask me out!
“Why wouldn’t I be happy?” I furrow my brow at him, giving a confused smile. He shakes his head and looks back to his computer. “No reason, just that in your entirety of high school, you’ve had a total of one boyfriend, who shouldn’t even count as one since ya’ll only dated for a week.” I nod and try to smile, remembering that horrible time in my life.
“I guess I’m waiting for someone special…” I say, looking back up at his chocolate colored eyes. He doesn’t look back at me and smiles, clicking on his computer.
“Remember this?” He pulls out the first picture we ever took of each other.
It was the summer before high school, and it was in my back yard by the creek. I had decided to make flower crowns for both of us, giving him blues and black colors and me light pink and deep red.
“How could I forget that…” I say, looking at the photo of us doing duck faces into the front facing camera with our flower crowns on.
“I really love this picture…” He says, me nodding as I feel a tear raise to my eye. I stare at how happy I looked, wrinkles around my eyes and my naturally brown hair in tight curls.
That was before I found who I was, before I dyed my hair and got the piercings, before I fell for James…The tear rolls down my cheek, me not able to break my stare from the screen.
“Remember when we took this one?” He flips to the next one, me wiping my tear away quickly. I see a picture of me against a white background, when I had gotten my nose pierced.
“First picture you took of me for photography.” I reminisce, seeing the black and white picture flood my memory.
“Can you believe we’re going to college?” I mumble, him wrapping an arm around my shoulders. “I know right…” I feel my heart flutter as his hand moves away, it’s touch leaving a tingling feeling in it’s wake.
“James, I-” Just as I’m about to tell my feelings, the bell sounds, making me shut up and stare as he logs off the memories.
