I'd rather hear it from you
Just say what you mean
Don't keep saying these half-truths
I don't believe you
Just give it to me straight
I don't want to hear your thoughts
From someone else
Just open your mouth
Let the truth come out
I won't get mad
I can promise you that
But if you keep going around my back
I can't keep that promise
So tell me the truth
