"I'm not very sure", I pouted, feeling my heartbeat nervously under my chest.

He smiled and scooted over to me to kiss me on my head.

"What do you think will happen?" he said, and as he spoke his breathe moved my hairs.

"I don't know, Denis", I whispered, seeing how one could glimpse the cupside of the airport building behind the rear window of the taxi, "I know it's been a year", I said, while with his nose he moved my hair around, "But I will remind you that the last time we talked, she slapped me", ,y frown creased in an expression of anguish as I remembered it.

Denis laughed and the blow of his laugh caressed my neck, then he places his lips sweetly over it, making my skin bristle.

"You better than anyone knows Dasha; she can't keep a grudge for that long", he said, now looking at me, "besides, now she's okay, she's with Kir", he smiled at me, "Time heals wounds, remember?".

"Not all of them, Denis", I contradicted, now very nervous, now that the taxi parked in front of the airport.

Denis paid the taxi and not really wanting to I got off the car. I stayed standing until Denis got to my side and slid his arm around my waist. His touch making me feel a little better.

"Let's go", he said, pushing me softly.

I walked on his side, while people went from one place to another with their luggage and tickets in hand.

"Why are you so calm? Were her last words to you perhaps 'It's okay Denis, there's no problem in you falling in love with my best friend. Go in peace'", I babbled and thought he would laugh, but instead of that, his face tensed.

"No. You know I didn't say goodbye, but...look, they wanted to come visit us I don't think there are any grudges", he shrugged. "Relax, okay", he kissed my forehead while we walked to take a seat to wait on the flight to arrive.

After a few minutes we saw them come out through a door where other passengers emerged from the fight from Italy and recognised Dasha's brown hair, her gaze was lowered, careless, i still knew her.

"Denis", I whispered fearfully, close to telling him to run away.

"I see them!" But he interrupted me and took me strongly by the hand, making me run towards them. "Kir!", he yelled and raised his other hand so he could spot us.

I place my gaze over Dasha and only on her; it's not that I didn't miss Kir but I wanted to know Dash's expression and if it wasn't a bad idea to run away. The moment of hearing Denis's voice, she raised her gaze, and as her eyes saw him, they looked different, it was the kind of look you give an old friend that you appreciate dearly. Then she looked at me and even though I froze suddenly all tense, she showed a dim smile barely visible and lowered her gaze again, making me feel confused and stupid.

"Denis, Kenadee!" Kir's voice made me look over to him, he looked no different, actually they both didn't change.

"Brother" Denis hugged Kir in a brotherly love when all four of us were close and I looked over to Dasha again, cautiously.

"Hey", she said with her dim smile painted on her face.

"Hey, Dasha", I responded timidly, it was weird to exchange weirds with her after a year and the last words being endless curse words.

She looked at Denis and smiled, not the way she did before, but it did seem sincere.

"Dasha", he said, and inclined to hug her, A quick and uncomfortable hug for Dasha, from what I could notice in their faces. "Should we go to some restaurant? I'll invite, as a welcome. "What do you guys say?", Offered Denis.

"Sounds good", Kir admitted. "Will you come with me to get our luggage", he asked him, but I knew him enough to know he was doing this to give Dasha and I alone time.

I was about to go behind them when Denis's voice stopped me.

"Wait for us here, we won't be long, is that okay?" he winked at me and followed his brother into the crowd of people.

I bit my top lip nervously and spun on my heels to look at Dasha, her gaze was still lowered until the moment she noticed I was looking at her, it was then until she slowly picked up her gaze.

"Tell me, have you seen Chris or Fernie?" I asked, to start a conversation, making me remember ironically on how before there was never any gaps of silence in our conversations.

"Oh, yeah, Chris says hi, well, Chris and Fernie, both of them", she smiled.

"Oh...great", it was all I could articulate.

I lowered my gaze and dedicated myself to nervously kick the ground with the soul of my shoe, while my hands in my pockets moved anxiously inside in the small space.

"Listen..", Dasha's firm voice made me raise my gaze quickly, "I know...I know our relationship...broke at the end", she was nervous, a little more or just as nervous as I was. "And you were right, I think it was bad communication or something like that, "she pouted. "I just.." , she exhaled. "I just want to tell you I don't hold a grudge, and that..." she looked at me, "and that I hope you don't either. I reacted very bad and said words I shouldn't have said to you. I suppose I also owe an apology to Denis for that", she said for herself. "The point is, that maybe we won't be the best of the best friends that we were before; but...at least not be enemies. I really do.. Care for you", she shrugged.

I looked at her and breathed, it was incredible that she could still guess my thoughts.

"Thanks Dasha", I said. "Thanks for, well, not hating me", she laughed and shook her head. "I'm sorry for...everything..I".

"Kenadee", she interrupted me. "You don't have to give me any explanations now, I mean, time has gone by and well, I'm with Kir", she smiled.

"Speaking of that, I'm really happy that you guys are together. Kir is amazing and he loves you so much".

"Yeah, I know, he's shown it and to be honest I'm happy".

That confession made me breathe.

"You more than anyone deserves to be happy, Dasha", I said.

"You too. I hope that..."

"Ready girls!", Kir said behind me, interrupting Dasha. "Let's go eat".

Kir extended his hand to Dasha and she took it, then walked together to the exit. Behind them were Denis and I, he held Kir's luggage in one hand and held me by the waist with the other. He looked at me and I did the same, he smiled.

"Everything okay?", he whispered.

I nodded and smiled back.

"Kir told me that everything is good with Dasha and he hopes that she's the women of his life", he neared my ear and whispered and my skin bristled.

I moved away a little to look at him.

"I'm really glad they're happy. They deserve it" I whispered.

"Of course".

As we walked out the light of midday shined on us and Kir was loading the taxi with the luggage. Denis ran to help him and loaded the ones he carried, I stayed back a couple meters. Kir and Denis laughed making jokes and the type of things brothers do, while Dasha looked at one of them in a way she has never looked at anyone. I could see in her eyes that she was in love in the most sincere way and deep that I have never seen. Kir gave back the same look to her and smiled and she, when she noticed the reflection in his eyes, a spark illuminated her face.

Then, what would all our suffering turn into? There was nothing in the world that could separate me from the man I loved, not even some supernatural force could separate Kir and Dasha. It's because this is how the world was supposed to be, it was how it was supposed to be from the beginning; but, if we hadn't suffered, we would have never been able to get to where we are. I didn't have my camera with me but it was like I took a picture of this moment in my mind of this correct moment in the world, revealing it to where it would be saved forever. In my heart.
