*Gianna's pov

**(February 2013)

"And she willlllll be loved.." I answered my phone quickly not wanting to wake Adam. "Hello?" I asked the unknown number. "Hello?" I asked again when there was no response. The line disconnected and I sat up shaking I had no idea what was going on but I couldn't handle these calls anymore, they've been going on for two weeks now and I was going to lose it. I should change my number when the stores open, I thought. "Gi?" Adam asked. "Go to bed baby" I said softly. I looked at the clock, 4:41. Who the hell would make a call at 4:41? I wondered. "What's going on?" he asked. "Just got a phone call" I said softly. "Again?" he asked concerned. "That's it this is going to stop" he said turning on the light. "Adam don't I can handle this" I said more to reassure myself than him. "But..." "no I can do this, they're not threatening calls, just hang ups. If I freak out now they will only get worse" I said not voicing the uneasy feeling when whoever it is rings. "Now come on I only have 4 days left with you and I don't want it to be stressed" I said. He sighed and nodded dropping it. "I have to run into the studio today. Just one last rehearsal before the long run of shows to come" he said. "Come with me? We can get dinner after" he said an innocent, child-like, smile on his lip. I smiled, "I suppose" I laughed and kissed him. "I'll meet you there" I said and my phone rang once again.

He stared at it angrily. I rolled my eyes and touched his cheek lightly as I answered. "Hello?" I said. This time I heard breathing, whoever it was, was gaining courage to speak. "Who is this?" I asked. Nothing, and now the breathing had stopped like I spooked them. "Please I'm not mad just tell me who you are. Why are you calling me? How did you get my number?" I asked calmly, for whoever was on the phone and for Adam. Nothing. "Please there must be a reason you're calling, please tell me" I said in a very motherly voice. "I'm too scared to call Adam" the person finally admitted. It sounded like a young girl, maybe 10 or so. I sighed, "why do you want to talk to Adam?" I asked staying calm the fear evident in her voice. "He's my dad" she said and hung up. I stared at my phone shocked. "Gi, Gi, what is it?" He asked a few times before I could speak. "The girl just told me you're her dad" I said plainly. "You don't believe that do you?" He asked eyeing me. "I don't know, how could she have gotten my number? And she sounded really scared" I said. "She was probably scared of getting caught" he reassured me. "Come on let's get some sleep I have to head to the studio in a few hours and we had a very long night" he winked and kissed me. I nodded, turned off the light, and curled up with him, my head on his chest, and closed my eyes. I just couldn't stop thinking about that call. I finally drifted to sleep I woke up two hours later restless. I crept out of bed and headed downstairs, I started a pot of coffee and boiled water for some all natural tea.

I stared off rubbing Frankie's head absentmindedly until my phone went off again. I took a deep breath and answered, "hello?" I said. "Can we meet?" The girl asked. "When?" I asked in return. "Today? At Starbucks?" She said softly. "Okay, what time?" I asked. "9:00" she said. I smiled some, "I'll be there" I assured her and she hung up. Adam can't find out, I thought. "Babe?" Adam called as he thudded down the stairs. "In here baby" I said softly. "You okay?" He asked sitting beside me his arm instinctively going around me as he held my hand. I smiled, "fine Ad, just couldn't sleep" I said and heard the tea pot whistle behind me. He got up and poured it in the mug I had waiting and brought it over to me. "Thanks baby" I said kissing him. "Anything for you" he smiled kissing me back. "So plans after the studio?" I asked taking a sip of the nice hot liquid. "Well I was thinking we could pick up some paint and some stuff for the nursery afterward and then dinner" he said poured himself a cup of coffee from the now finished 5 cup pot. Ugh I wish I could have some, this tea is doing nothing, I groaned inwardly. "Sounds perfect baby" I said and sipped my tea. I bit my lip, he's gonna find out, he's gonna find out and hate me. I was so nervous I couldn't stop thinking about it. Can't he leave for the studio already. I checked the time 7:09, ugh another 51 minutes! And then another hour until I meet this kid! Ugh I can't take this. "I'm gonna shower" he said kissing my head. I nodded, "I think I'm gonna take Frankie for a walk" I said getting up. I followed him upstairs and slipped on a sweater over my sports bra and a pair of yoga pants from the floor. I slipped on my sneakers and grabbed Frankie's leash. "Ready girl?" I asked. She barked and sat waiting to be hooked up.

We headed out and I kept thinking, my head spinning with everything. What if he's right? What will he do if he finds out? What if he's wrong and he has a daughter out there? Then what? What will he do? What will I do? I tried to shake the thoughts and focus on my run. Frankie barked happily at her usual friends and ran beside me. We ran our usual mile and headed home. I took off her leash and hung it up and kicked off my shoes by the door. "Hey baby" Adam smirked running down the stairs. "Sorry I couldn't do your run with you, but I gotta go" he groaned kissing me. "See you after babe" I smiled kissing him back. I checked the time, 7:45. Damn it took me 20 minutes to run my mile? I wondered. I eyed myself in the mirror and ran through the run in my mind. I was running slower and I was more winded than usual. Hmm the pregnancy maybe? The stress of the hang ups? The stress of meeting this girl? I sighed and laid back on the bed. If this pregnancy was going to slow me down THIS much then I'm gonna hate this. I searched for a clean bra and panties and tossed them on the bed. I stripped on the way to the bathroom and turned on the water. I looked in the mirror admiring my belly. You still couldn't tell but he or she was definitely making me tired. I yawned and stepped into the shower letting the warm water relax me. I pushed away all thoughts of the daughter Adam knew nothing about.

I got out and applied some makeup and blow dried and straightened my hair. I searched for something simple, but dressy enough for wherever Adam is taking me for dinner. A beige/grey top and dark wash jeans, paired with grey and silver jewelry. I found a grey sweater and a shoe that perfectly matches my tank. Perfect. I grabbed my purse and checked the time, 8:48, just enough time to get to Starbucks. I jumped in the car and headed over. I parked and headed inside ordering my usual and found a booth in the back.
