*Gianna's pov
I waited anxiously for the girl to show up. I had no idea who she was or what she looked like but she knew me. I sighed and sipped my decaffeinated coffee keeping my eye on the door. With every girl that walked in I braced myself, but none of them were Adam's supposed daughter. 10 minutes past 9:00 I was getting ready to leave, when a girl maybe 10 walked in. Her long hair was dark like Adam's and she had many of his features. She turned and spotted me and headed over. Shit, this is his daughter, there's no denying it. "Gianna?" She said softly. I nodded and stared still in shock. "I'm Gabby" she said. "Have a seat Gabby" I said nervously. "Where's your mom?" I asked looking around. Gabby bit her lip, "she's in the car. She said she didn't want to confront Adam yet" she said. "Is he here?" She asked. I shook my head, "no he had to work. I wanted to ease him into this" I admitted. Gabby nodded. "How did your mom know Adam?" I asked. "She knew him before he was famous. She said they hung out a lot" she explained. "I see" I said and looked up to see another woman walk in. She was looking around and stopped spotting Gabby. She bit her lip and hurried over. "Gabby, baby, I think it's time to go" she said and you could hear the fear in her voice. "But mom" Gabby whined. "Oh, Gianna" she said. "Hi" I smiled. "I'm Tiffany" she said and we shook hands. "Tiffany, if you don't mind I'd like to talk with you both" I said still smiling. She eyed me and then sat down. "This was quite a shock for me, having Gabby call me and never say anything then finally tell me she's Adam's daughter. How come you never told him?" I asked. "It was better that way" she said. "Hey Gabby want to go pick something out?" I asked.
She nodded and I handed her some money. "You don't have to do that I can get her something" Tiffany started. "I know I felt like it. Why was it better?" I asked. "Adam and I had only been together a month. We weren't even really together, just both out of relationships. He was talking about a record deal he was working for and I was just trying to feel safe. My boyfriend was crazy" she said and shook the thought. "He was very possessive and controlling. Anyway Adam and I only had a friends with benefits relationship. Nothing more. I didn't know I was pregnant until I was already gone. I got some threatening calls from my ex and I left. I didn't want to hurt Adam and I couldn't stay there anymore. Last I heard he had just gotten signed. He was so happy, I couldn't tell him. That was 11 years ago in a few months" she explained and Gabby was back at the table. I took a deep breath and admired the beautiful girl that looked so much like Adam, "if it's okay with your mom would you like to meet Adam today?" I asked looking at Gabby. She looked at her mom. "Fine" she said. Gabby cheered, "come on, you can follow me" I smiled. So many thoughts ran through my head as I walked to the car but I pushed them aside. Adam needed to know then we would go from there. Hopefully he doesn't hate me for meeting with them. I kept glancing in the rearview mirror making sure they were still with me. I pulled up to the studio and parked and waited for them. "Okay ladies, I'm gonna go in first and then I'll come out and bring you in okay?" I asked. They nodded and followed me in. I waved to the secretary and headed to their usual room. I took a deep breath and walked in.
I heard Adam's smooth soothing voice first as he worked with James on the guitar for a potentially new song. " Hey baby" he smiled seeing me. I hugged and kissed him and said hi to the guys. "Can we talk a minute?" I asked biting my lip. "Sure what's up?" He asked leading me to the red couch in the corner. "You know how I said the girl from the hang ups said she was your daughter?" I started. "Not this Gi, it's a scam" he said shaking his head. "No it's not Adam, she's real and she's your daughter," "how do you know?" He asked. "Because I met her" I admitted. The guys instantly stopped talking and stared. "I told you not to" he said pacing. "Actually, um babe. You didn't" I said nervously. He sighed, "are you sure? Did you see a birth certificate?" He asked. "Well no, but" "then how do you know?" He asked. "I talked to Tiffany" I said. "Tiffany" he said his eyes wide. He looked curious and worried, "it's Tiffany's kid?" He asked. I nodded and he started pacing faster his hands in his hair as he mumbled to himself. "Ad, baby?" I said stopping him. The guys were still really quiet just watching. "How is she? Is she okay?" He asked. "I should probably be concern that you're so interested in her but I'll let it slide for now. They're outside. Gabby really wanted to meet you. Tiffany on the other hand seemed reluctant." He stared at the door before walking over and opening it.
*Adam's pov
I took a deep breath, everyone in the room was dead silent. I slowly opened the door and there was Tiffany, only she wasn't the sweet, scared little girl I once knew, she was a scared helpless woman. I looked down and there she was, a young girl that could be my double. Her black hair fell around her shoulders and her hazel eyes glistened as tears formed. I just stared like a moron. "Tiffany" I said softly. "Hi Adam" she said smiling slightly. "Hi sweetheart" I said looking at my daughter. "Hi" she said shyly. "I'm Adam" I said introducing myself to her. Was that the right thing to do? "Gabby" she said softly. "I like that name" I smiled. She blushed and Gi was at my side. "Gabby want to meet the rest of the guys?" She asked. "Yes please!" She said. She seemed very excited and I watched Gianna show her around. "Can we talk?" I asked. Tiffany looked scared but nodded. I stepped into the hallway and shut the door. "Tiff, why didn't you tell me?" I asked. I was hurt but it had to have been for a good reason, I trusted that. "He found me. I had to leave" she said and tears were in her eyes. I pulled her into a hug, I remembered how hard that was for her. "I wanted to call but I was scared he would trace it, he was watching you too. At least while I was with you. When I left he still managed to contact me. I told him to leave you alone, that we weren't together. He said you never mattered, it wasn't worth his time to torture you" she said and she was crying. "As long as I didn't contact you, you were safe. He doesn't care about Gabby, he just wants me and being back here scares me, but Gabby's been insistent about who her dad is and I told her. She said she wouldn't bother you. I guess I should've included Gianna too. Please don't hate her for this, I hope this doesn't cause problems" she said freaking out. "It's okay Tiff" I said. "I'm glad she found me, but I wish you had told me" I admitted.
"What does this mean now? I mean you're not gonna invoke your parental rights and take her from me are you?" She said nervously. "No Tiff, but I would like to fly her out once in a while if that's okay. I want to get to know her and spend time with her, even if it's just one weekend a month. It's up to you" I said. She nodded, "I know she'd love that" she smiled and wiped her eyes. "I'm gonna step outside and get some air, clear my head. I'll be right in" she said. "You sure?" I asked eyeing her. She nodded, "I'll just be a minute, my head is spinning" she said. I kissed her cheek, "alright" I said. I headed back into the room and saw Gabby laughing at Mickey. I laughed and she instantly looked up at me and smiled. "So Gabby, tell me about yourself" I said sliding next to Gianna on the couch. "Um, I'm 10. I love music and I've taken piano lessons for the past 3 years, but I want to learn guitar. I love the Beatles, Taylor swift, and Maroon 5. Mom likes to play your music, especially your really old stuff from the other band" she said. I smiled, a musician, just like me. I wondered what else is like me, aside from her looks. "Where's mom?" She asked looking toward the door. "She stepped out to get a little fresh air" I said. Gabby bit her lip, "no something doesn't feel right" she said and got up. She seemed like a very insightful girl. She rushed out the door and I followed closely behind. She burst through the door and looked around frantically. "Mom!" She called out over and over again. She was no where to be found. "Gabby go back with Gianna" I said. "No I have to find her" she said crying, "please Gabby go. I need you to go inside please" I begged. She went in crying and I searched. I searched for several minutes before finding her phone. The case had a picture of Gabby and her. He had her. He followed her and stole her away.
I raced inside and called 911 from the secretary's phone. "A woman's been kidnapped!" I said frantically. "Sir calm down, how do you know?" "She stepped outside for just a minute and she dropped her phone and her car is here but she's gone." "Maybe she went for a walk sir" the operated said. "Her ex boyfriend is psychotic and has been stalking her. She wouldn't have left her daughter like this. Please I know he has her" I begged. "Who is her ex boyfriend sir?" She asked. "Um.. Tony something" I said racking my brain. "Tony Hart?" She asked. "Yes that's it!" I said. She sighed, "sir he is a wanted criminal. If he took her, you can be sure it will be a priority, we've been trying to get him for months now" she assured me. "I want frequent updates to this number" I told her. "Of course sir" she said and we ended the call. I headed back to the room and Gabby was curled up crying on the couch with Gianna comforting her. "Where is she?" She asked through her sobs. "Sweetie, she... She was kidnapped" I said not wanting to lie. That wouldn't help any. Her sobs got worse and I sat beside her pulling her close. She curled into me trusting me fully.
