"Good evening, parents, family, friends and fellow classmates who are apart of the successful class of 2014. I am Alexandra Hernandez, most of you know me as the girl who walks around the school taking pictures of everybody. I'm here to congratulate every one of you for making it through these tough four years. Studying day and night or just breezing through the class, you deserve a congratulation on making it to graduation day. Through these years, we have suffered through horrid lunches, several hour long classes, and worst of all, PE.

"And now we're breaking away to go off to better lunches, longer classes and optional physical activities. But, before we leave to college, we all deserve to take some time off over the summer and treat ourselves to some adventure. To break free and live a little more than you normally would. I want to leave you with a quote that I have planning to live by this summer. As said by William Ross, 'every man dies - not every man lives.'

"So, this summer, take the bucket list that you've been planning with your best friend or make one tonight and do every possible thing you can do on that list before the summer ends. You need to live before you go to the seriousness that is life during and after college. Make this summer count. And when college comes around, work hard. Harder than ever. But, in this moment, live... Congratulations class of 2014. You deserve to give yourself a round of applause for your accomplishments." The graduates clapped. "Good luck with the future."

I left the stage and went back to my seat with all the others. I sat in my seat next to Lucas, "thanks for indirectly mentioning me." He whispered in my ear.

I smiled as I rest my head on his shoulder, "you're welcome."

"Are we going to do the list?" Lucas asked me wrapping his arm around my shoulders.

I picked my head up off his shoulder and nod, "of course we are. I haven't done anything, Lucas. The most adventure I've ever had is Disneyland for my Make-A-Wish. I study and I study, I get nothing, but good grades. I deserve to take that stupid, old bucket list and do everything on it. And you're doing it all with me."

Lucas smiled broadly, "I know I am."

I chuckled, "a whole summer of Alexandra and Lucas... this should be interesting."

"I'm so proud of you!" My mom exclaimed near my ear as she hugged me tight. "You always said you wouldn't make it to graduation, but look where you are."

My father pat my shoulder and crossed his arms over his chest. "Good job, Alex."

"Thanks, dad." Mom finally let go of me.

"Mr., Mrs. Hernandez, do you mind if I take Alex somewhere?" Lucas asked I stood by my parents side.

Mom hesitated and dad just shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know-"

"Let her go." My dad said.

Mom sighed, but smiled, "alright. The restaurants all over town are gonna be full anyway."

"Thanks, mom, dad."

She nod her head, "be careful, okay?"

"Bye, kid. Have fun." My dad said with a smile.

"We will."

Lucas and I walked away from my parents. "Where are we going?" I asked him.

"Places."

That's the second chapter guys. It's probably really boring and I know it's short, so bare with me.

I do plan to keep the chapters rather short and update as frequently as possible.

Love you, guys.
