Lucas and I have been having full weeks of work lately and haven't had any time to work on our list. Sure, he's come to my house and I've went to his, so it's not like we never had a chance to see each other.

But, the other night I went through the list to find something to do. I decided to wait for a night where I closed up the cinema and it happened to be today.

I wiped down the counters of the concession stands as I wait for Lucas to come pick me up. I was the only one left here and it was a bit strange in here alone. My phone vibrated in my pocket, Lucas was calling.

I answered, "hello?"

"I'm outside."

"Come in."

"Alex, I'm so tired right now. It's eleven o'clock, almost midnight." He whined.

"Please." I begged him.

He groaned, "I'll be there in a minute."

"I'll be waiting." I end the call and I leaned on the counter. He walked in, I could tell he was tired by the way he was walking. His hands shoved in his pockets and his back slightly hunched over.

"Lock the door." I called to him, he twist the top lock and came towards my counter.

"Why am I here?" He asked me and on the counter in front of me.

"Pick a snack."

"This is what you call me in for. I am exhausted, I've been working since six in the morning-"

I slammed my hand down on the counter. "Pick a damn snack, Lucas."

"Shit... uh, that." He pointed at a box chocolate covered candy. I took them out for him and grabbed my own box.

"Now, explain to me why I'm here." He commanded.

I walked around the counter. "So, on our list we have so many petty things on the list that we've yet to do. One of them is watch a silent movie, I thought 'hey! I work in movie theatre, why not do this one after work?' And that's why you're here."

"That's why I'm here. I'm so tired right now, Alex, I can't even function properly."

"I'm leaving in less than a month and I really want to do this. Not only do you get to choose what we do."

"I know that, you're just choosing all the weak shit to do."

"Shut up." I punched his arm. "Come on."

He followed me as I walked him to theatre 14. We hadn't used it all day, so during my break I touched it up. I pulled the door open for him, I walked in behind him. The center aisle, I had set-up with blankets, so we could just relax completely.

"It smells just like you in here." He stated as we walked down the aisle.

"I was the only one in here all day and I sprayed my perfume on myself earlier, it slipped from my hands and the entire bottle smashed to pieces." I told him and plopped down on the blankets as the old black & white commercials played on screen. Lucas sat down beside me.

"How long is the movie?"

"An hour and twenty minutes. I figured you'd want to go home when you came."

I laid back on the angled aisle, getting a perfect view of the screen. Lucas sat up with his knee up and his arm leaning on his knee. When the movie began, to my surprise, Lucas was completely absorbed in it. Myself on the other hand, I could've chose better.

I popped the small pieces of candy into my mouth as the movie went on. Occasionally, flicking them into Lucas' hair and at his neck. He didn't react.

I sat up and faced him, his eyes were halfway shut. "Lucas." I whispered in his ear to see if he was up.

"Hm?"

I wrapped my arms around him, "don't fall asleep on me."

"I'm not gonna. I'm up." He assured me and put all his weight on me until we were laying down. All the candy in his hair fell out onto my face.

"How'd you like it?" I asked Lucas as we laid in his bed. The lights were off, so the entire room was pitch black.

"It wasn't bad."

"I'm pretty surprised you liked it. You really liked it from the beginning."

"Actually, I was too tired to do anything, but watch the screen."

I shrugged, "im just glad you liked it."

"You killed me today, I'm exhausted." He whined.

"Me? All I did to you today was make you come into the theatre."

"Sh..." He placed his finger over my lips, "just go to sleep." I grabbed his finger and pulled it back as far as I could before he yanked his hand back. "You're gonna regret that."

"I'm so scared."
