"Lauren Wake Up!!!"
"Lauren this is the third time I'm telling you to Wake Up!!!
I woke up by the loud knocking on my door. I heard my door open. I lifted my head up to check the time on my phone. Six in the morning.
"Lauren you need to wake up" I heard my mom's voice again. I lifted my head to see her dark figure at the door. She turned on the light and I was blinded. I quickly shoved my head into the pillow groaning.
"Mooommm" I whined. She tugged on my blankets but I didn't let them go. She gave up but didn't leave my room.
"Lauren? Where are your bags?" I sat up knowing I'm going to get yelled at again.
"You didn't pack?" She said with a stern look.
"You said to go to sleep." I said quietly.
"Oh now you do as I say." She sighed and walked towards my door.
"Pack Now. And hurry up we leave in thirty." She said and walked out leaving my door open. I quickly got out of bed and shut it.
_________
"Lauren. Lauren. Lauren."
We were on our way to the woods with the Cabello's following behind. I sat next to Taylor which I now regret. I had my earbuds in listening to music, I had it low enough to still be able to hear others conversations. In case my mom called for me, she gets mad when I don't respond.
"Lauren. Lauren. Laaauurrrenn."
I pulled out my left earbud and glared and Taylor.
"Can you pass me the chips?" I looked down at my feet where the store bag full of chips was laying by feet. We passed to the store to get some chips and drinks for ride.
I passed her the full bag and went back to my music. I raised the volume not wanting to get disturbed again.
Ten minutes passed and I felt Taylor poking my arm. I turned and glared at her. I turned back around to look out the window noticing we were surrounded my tall trees. She poked my arm again. I pulled out my ear buds and glared at her.
"What now?" I hissed out.
"Lauren. Don't talk to your sister like that." I flinched at my mom's voice.
I sat back and I went to pit in my earbuds again. Until my mom started talking.
"Lauren?"
"What?"
"Were you not listening?" I stayed quiet. I heard her sigh.
"I asked if you've talked to Camila about the trip."
"Uhh no. She didn't tell me anything yesturday. And I haven't texted her."
"Well you should start texting her. What did I tell you yesterday."
"Yeah yeah I know." I sighed out remembering our talk from last night.
We pulled over to go up a trail and stopped when we reached our campsite. I got out the car and looked around. Trees, trees, and more trees.
