I woke up and was instantly met with Taylor's face. She was siting cross legged facing me.

I furrowed my eyebrows and rubbed my eyes.

"You smell like shit." She said staring at me.

"Thanks I was going for that." I said sarcastically sitting up.

I looked around and saw Camila was still sleeping.

I got out the tent leaving Camila to sleep. I walked out and flattened out my clothes.

"Lauren, Taylor wanted you to take her to the lake." My mom was sitting at one the folding chairs reading a book.

I looked over at Taylor and saw her with a small smile. She came up to me and put a hand on my shoulder.

"It's for your own good." She said. She back away and made barfing noises as I walked past her back into the tent.

I grabbed my bag looking for my bikini.

"What are you doing?"

Camila murmured as she stir in her sleeping bag. She sat up and watched me take out my bikini.

"Going to the lake." I got out of the tent with Camila following behind.

"Karla the girls are going to the lake why don't you go with them?" My mom asked Camila.

"Uhh sure. Whose taking us?"

"Lauren. Don't worry she knows her way around here. She knows this place like the palm of her hand." My mom said smiling to Camila. Camila turned and furrowed her eyebrows at me giving me a death glare.

I put on my bikini and put a tank top over my top and some jean shorts over my bottoms. I saw Camila wearing a tee shirt and shorts.

I walked ahead of Taylor and Camila. Taylor ran past me once she heard the water flowing.

I pushed through branches and plants and was finally met with the lake. Tall trees surrounding the lake and a large log laid over the water to the side. The lake had a stream leading further into the woods. The open space let the sun shine bounce off the water.

I took off my tank too and shorts throwing then to the side. I ran past a pile of clothes that belonged to Taylor. I made my way into the lake, the water was cold but not freezing cold.

I turned back to see Camila in her tee shirt and shorts sitting at the edge with her feet in.

"COME ON!!!" I yelled out to her.

"IM FINE HERE!!" She yelled out.

I went over to her and blocked the sun from her face with my body.

"Come on it's not that cold."

"I said I'm fine here" She said looking down at her feet.

"What's wrong?" She looked up and shook her head looking out to the water.

"I can't swim." She whispered shyly.

"You don't have to swim. You could just...stand there."

"What if I slip and drown under water and die." I chuckled at her exageration.

"I'll be right next to you to protect you....again." I said thinking of last night.

She looked up and gave me a small smile. I held out my hand but she didn't take it.

I walked into the water until it reached my waist and Camila's stomach. She held her arms up out of the water and kept looking down to watch her steps.

"Just relax. See everything's ok." I said and squatted down for the water to reach my collarbones. Camila did the same but slowly. She stopped when the water reached her collarbone and smiled wide.

I smiled and dipped my head back underwater pinching my nose. I popped out and combed my hair back.

"Try it." I said to Camila. She gave me a worried look and avoided my eyes.

"I'll hold you." I put my hands on her waist and she gripped my forearm and pinched her nose. She slowly leaned her head back underwater. I felt her squeeze my arms so I pulled her up.

She gasped and had her eyes wide opened. I smiled at her reaction. She wiped her eyes and smiled.

"I did it." She said through breaths. I nodded happily seeing how proud she was of her accomplishment.

"HEY STOP FLIRTING!!!!!" Taylor yelled to us from a far. Camila shoved me away and quickly stood up and shuffled away going back to the edge.

"Lauren wanna jump off the log?" Taylor yelled making her way to the log on the side. I stood up and shuffled to the log as well.
