Chapter 1 - The Meeting

You awoke in your small apartment in Brighton, England. While you had to admit your apartment wasn't much to look at, It's where you called home. Your favorite part of home was the gorgeous view from your balcony. 

You lived a nice quiet life, You had gone to college, Gotten a degree in hotel management. You didn't see the point of it as you haven't ever used it but hey, it was there. 

You laid in bed and thought back on those days and all the friends you had, One specific friend in general, Sean McLoughlin. He was your best friend, and your biggest crush. But after college you had moved to Brighton and as far as you knew he lived in Ireland. You had lost contact after that but you still thought about him occasionally. You had gotten over your crush as you were certain you would never even see the man again. Just the thought made you a little sad.

After a while you managed to drag yourself out of bed and take a shower, Afterwards you threw on a simple tank top and leggings with some sneakers, You were about to head for the shop when you remembered. "I better check the weather." You mumbled to yourself as if you already knew what to expect. You peeked out of a nearby window to see, you guessed it, Rain. 

If there was one thing England could guarantee, It was rain. You sighed, grabbing your jacket and umbrella then began walking to the shop.

The shop was only about a 20 minute walk at max, Despite the rain, you still enjoyed walking to anywhere you needed. Brighton was such a beautiful town for walks. 

Once you arrived at the shop you grabbed a shopping cart and began searching for everything you needed, Mostly food and cleaning supplies. 

~ one grocery shopping trip later ~ 

After you had paid for everything you gathered your bags and began to head for the door, You had just turned around and with paying no attention, you ran straight into somebody, dropping half of your items.

"Oh my goodness!" You began, Starting to pick up any items you had dropped. "I'm so sorry I wasn't paying attention!" You had been too occupied that you hadn't even looked up to the mystery person you had run into. 

"It's quite alright!" It was a man, He had a loud voice and what seemed to be an Irish accent. The voice sounded vaguely familiar, but you couldn't really put a mark on it as you weren't really paying attention. "Accidents happen all the time!"

The mystery man had begun to help you collect your items and put them back into your bags. You continued talking as you both stood up, still making no eye contact. "I know, but it's still no excuse for me to just-" 

You had finally looked up at the man and were met with the most beautiful icey blue eyes you had ever seen. Something seemed very familiar now. Getting a look at the rest of his face, your brain had finally put the puzzle together. Your old College crush. 

"Sean?"

And that's the first chapter! I'm sorry if it was a bit boring BUT I promise it will get a lot better! 

Also I'm sorry it's so short! But can't give away all the good stuff in the first chapter haha!
