~ Sean's P.O.V ~
"Y/N?" I stared at her for a few moments and a smile grew on my face "Is it really you?"
"Yeah" She chuckled, "What are you doing in Brighton? I thought you still lived in Ireland." She asked me, She had the most adorable smile on her face, God I've missed her.
"I moved ta Brighton a few months ago! Not that much different from Ireland though with all this rain!" She laughed "Yeah, just like being right at home!"
I loved her laugh, I used ta have the biggest crush on her in college but figured she'd never go for someone like me. I'm currently in a relationship anyways, we've been together for about a year, but we've never really been happy together. In all honesty every so often I would think about Y/N and if she was doing alright, how her life had progressed.
~ Your P.O.V ~
"Well I'd hate to cut our meeting short but I should get home, Don't want the ice cream to melt." I spoke softly, I couldn't stop staring at his eyes, those damn gorgeous eyes, It was always so easy to get lost in them.
"Do you live far?" He asked, taking me from my thoughts. "No, It's only about a 20 minute walk."
"Mind if I walk you home then?" I wasn't going to refuse this offer. I hadn't seen him in years so I wasn't going to give him up after a few moments.
"Making moves on me already McLoughlin?" I joked and laughed, he just smiled and shook his head.
While walking back to my apartment we had talked about our college days and what we've been doing since. It felt so great to talk to him again.
"So have you used that hotel management degree yet?" I laughed at my own joke, thinking it was honestly the dumbest degree I could have gone for.
He laughed as well. "No, I make videos on YouTube for a living." I was curious now. "Oh? seems like a fun position, just doing your own thing." He smiled and nodded. "Yeah it's great, especially since-"
He was cut off by a young girl, maybe around fifteen running up to us, she seemed really excited about something. "Oh my god! Are you JackSepticEye?" Ah, SepticEye. Haven't heard that nickname used in years.
"Yeah, I am" He smiled warmly as he offered her a hug, She gladly accepted it. He signed her shirt. The shirt had a Diamond on the top right corner with the letters "PMA" in it and the words "Positive Mental Attitude" going down the sleeve. She mentioned buying his merch so I assumed this was his. Afterwards she ran back to her friends and we continued walking as I couldn't help but giggle "Didn't know I was getting to know a celebrity now."
He laughed and replied "Nah i'm not a celebrity, My YouTube channel is pretty big though. Having a fan-base and all." I smiled and looked at him "Was the shirt your merch then?" I asked, thinking it was actually pretty cool he had his own merch line. "Yeah." He replied shortly and stared at me for a few moments after. I couldn't help but feel butterflies.
We had finally gotten back to my apartment as we stopped in front of the door "well this is it, Why don't you come in for a bit?" Hoping he would say yes. "Can't, Sorry. Girlfriend needs me home." I froze for a moment. "Oh, you have a girlfriend?" I said softly, maybe too softly, as his first reply was to look down. "Yeah, We've been together for about a year now." I tried to act happy for him, but on the inside I was hurting. "That's great!" I said, He just nodded in response.
We both fell silent until I finally spoke up "Well uh, I should be putting these groceries away. It was nice seeing you, Sean." I tried sounding as casual as I could, But I don't think he bought it. "Was nice seeing you too Y/N. Maybe we could talk again soon?" I nodded and gave a small fake smile "Of course."
With that I walked into my apartment and gently shut the door, walking into the kitchen and putting my groceries away. I was left with my own thoughts.
"I know I shouldn't be feeling hurt. Hell Y/N, You haven't seen him in years what were you expecting him to do? Just sit around and wait? Please." I was scolding myself while putting items in the fridge. Then I heard a knock on the door, I had a small hope it was Sean as I peeked through the peep hole.
I smiled to see my friends F/N and Spike. They were my closest friends in the whole world, All of us plus Sean had gone to college together. As I opened the door and let them inside, Spike began the conversation. "So, we happened to spot a very specific Irish man walking away from this very building, Any particular reason?" He asked with a slight smirk on his face, I laughed and smiled. "you're stalking my apartment building now?"
"No! we were just curious!" Spike pretended to be offended, then F/N cut in. "Just tell us why he was here." She smiled slightly and chuckled.
"Boy, do I have a story to tell you guys."
