Chapter 8 - He's Coming

I was completely frozen. Sean and I stood there just staring at each other for a few moments before he gently took my hands in his. 

"Y/N, I've liked you since college. I know I shouldn't have waited so long to tell ya, but you know me. I just couldn't get the courage ta do it... But I'm telling you now." 

I was shocked. "S-since college?" I asked, Sean nodded. 

I smiled as he looked down at me a bit confused "What is it?" He asked. 

"It's funny, I've liked you since college. You were my biggest crush. After college, I thought i'd never see you again. And when I did you-" I was cut off by my own thoughts. Didn't Sean have a girlfriend? 

"Sean- Don't you have a girlfriend?"

"Oh, we broke up this morning. We just weren't happy together." Then he froze for a moment and looked at me. "You've liked me since college?" I nodded.

"Well-" Sean began. "I don't want ta rush into a new relationship, but maybe we can go grab some food sometime? Maybe like a mini date" He laughed and I smiled and nodded.

"I'd like that" He smiled at me "Great!" 

Two hours later the reunion was over, I was talking with Sean while walking to my car when I felt it again. The eyes. 

"Sean?" He looked at me "Yeah?" I tried to make an excuse, if I told him I thought someone was always watching me, he'd think I was crazy. "Do you think you can come hang out at my place for a bit? To finish catching up and all." I smiled a bit and he nodded. "Okay! meet ya there"

I nodded and drove back to my apartment. Moments after I arrived Sean pulled up and we walked to the door together.

I opened the door and let Sean in, moments later we were sat in the living room talking and I was internally trying to calm down, I didn't feel the eyes at the moment. But I knew they would return. Maybe I should tell Sean what's been happening. 

Seconds after that thought escaped Sean's phone rang, he answered it and spoke to a person he called Mark. Apparently he was making a trip to Brighton and asked if Sean could pick him up from the airport once he arrived. Sean agreed and offered Mark to stay at his place for his trip. Afterwards he hung up and looked over to me. 

"Are you sure you're okay Y/N?, you seem... off." 

I made a split second decision to tell him. I looked down and sighed. "well, no. I haven't been okay for a while. I always... I always feel like someone is watching me."

"For the past week, I've just gotten that feeling of someone being behind you, but no one is there." I looked back up and he looked concerned. "You think I'm crazy, right?" he shook his head. "No, no. I'm just worried for you is all." 

I looked back down, they were back. "Sean.. I feel them." I was on the verge of crying, this was beginning to genuinely scare me. 

Sean stood up and looked around the room. "You stay here, I'll take a look around the apartment." I nodded, I finally noticed my breathing had picked up so I tried to calm it down. 

I stayed on the couch as I heard Sean walking through the apartment, all the sudden a lamp falls over and breaks on the other side of the room, I scream from the sudden surprise and Sean runs back into the living room. 

"Are you okay?!" I nodded. "I'm fine, the lamp fell over and it scared me. I'm sorry."

He looked over at the broken lamp and looked back at me as if he was making a decision. "Maybe you should stay with me tonight." He suggested, I thought about it for a moment, then nodded. 

I didn't want to be here alone. And in this moment, I didn't want to be here at all. I would feel safer with Sean.

"Okay." I smiled a bit as he smiled a little. "Grab whatever you need and we'll be going then."

I got up and grabbed a gym bag since it was big enough to fit the things I'd need. I put the basics in clothes, toothbrush/paste, etc. and went back to the living room where Sean was waiting. 

He took my bag as he opened the door for me, I walked down to his car as he locked my apartment back.

Then we were off to Sean's home. 

~ Anti's P.O.V ~ 

I smiled as I watched Jack drive off with Y/N towards his home. I think it's time I let him know I'm around. And I know exactly how I'm going to do it.
