It's been two weeks since I got out of the hospital, I now lived with Sean, we still weren't in a relationship or anything though I secretly wished we were. He was focused on his YouTube career which I understood as this was his job.
I was sat in the living room as I heard Sean upstairs playing a horror game, I assumed he was recording for his channel. I got a text from F/N asking to meet her and Spike at our usual cafe hangout. I smiled as I grabbed my bag, I left a note for Sean telling him where I would be and I left.
Once I got to the cafe F/N and Spike were waiting outside. "Hey guys!"I called out smiling, I haven't hung out with them in what seemed like forever so this was a nice change.
"Hey! there she is!" Spike said
"Finally! We've been waiting for an hour" F/N said laughing.
"Well I am definitely up for some food right now." We all laughed and entered the cafe, we sat and ordered our favorites.
"Y/N, I don't know if you want to talk about it.. But are you okay? from.. You know." Spike said with caution, I could understand why as I wasn't exactly ready to talk about Anti yet. The room I was stuck in for days was dark but I felt like I knew everything in that room.
I shook my head lightly. "Let's talk about that another time" I said with a smile, I felt bad for denying to answer but I just wasn't ready.
"Well I have a question!" F/N cut in with a smirk on her face. "Are you and Sean a thing yet?" She leaned closer to me
"well uh, not really." I said glancing between her and the table.
"How?!" She said a little too loud. "He rescues you from a demon, spends days with you in the hospital, you guys confess your love, and you're not dating?!"
I rolled my eyes slightly "No, we're not."
She squints her eyes staring right at me. "Do you want to date him?"
I sigh and look up at the ceiling. "Of course I do, but he's focusing on his YouTube stuff."
She sighs. "Well, I'm sure he'll ask soon."
"I can only hope so."
A few moments later our food was delivered to our table and we began eating, Spike looked lost in thought as F/N and I looked at him.
"You okay there Spike?" I asked, he looked at me as if I broke him from deep thought.
"Yeah, i'm fine, just thinking something over."
"Well what are you thinking over?" F/N asked.
"Something Sean and I talked about, it's better if you ask him about it." I nodded and rose an eyebrow.
After we finished eating we sat and talked for a while joking around and laughing, We sat there for an hour before we all decided to go home.
Once I got home Sean was in the living room pacing, he stopped once he heard the door open and looked over to me.
"Y/N there you are, come on I want to take you somewhere." He said smiling, I nodded as he gently grabbed my hand and lead me towards the car.
I laughed and nodded. "Okay, so where are we going then?"
"Well I can't tell you that silly it's a surprise." He said as we got in the car.
We drove for what seemed like an hour, I kept glancing over to him in confusion wondering where he was taking me, was he finally going to ask me? I tried not to get my hopes up too high.
We arrived at a beach, we parked as we got out of the car, the sun was beginning to set and I couldn't help but smile at how beautiful it was.
We walked close to the ocean as I stared at the sunset. Sean looked over to me and smiled. "Beautiful isn't it?"
"Extremely." I looked over to him, we locked eyes as he smiled wider then cleared his throat.
"Well, it doesn't compare to your beauty though."
I laughed and shook my head "You use that pick up line on a lot of people?"
He laughed as well and held my hand "Only the special ones."
I blushed but tried to play it off. "Special ones huh?" I smirked as I looked back to the ocean,
"Well yeah, you're very special to me. And I know it's very sudden.. if you say no that's fine I understand..but.."
"But what?" I turned towards him to see him not there, until I looked down, my eyes widened and I gasped.
There he was, on one knee. My thoughts were going in a million directions at once. As I stood frozen still shocked, It was certainly a question, just not the one I was expecting.
"Now look, I know this is VERY sudden. We haven't even dated but.. You're something I'm serious about Y/N, and Anti helped me realize that. I can't afford to lose you again. I love you Y/N. I have for a long, long time. And even though we weren't officially dating every moment we were together felt like you were mine. And I'm sure you felt the same?"
He paused glancing into my eyes for a response, I simply nodded with a small smirk forming.
He sighed in relief and smiled "So what I'm trying to finally say is..."
"Marry Me?"
