Chapter 23 - PAX

I was standing backstage looking around, Sean had his own panel tonight at PAX and wanted to finally break it to his fans that we were engaged, Mark assured Sean that himself, Bob, and Wade would be in the crowd to support him. I still hadn't properly met Bob and Wade since the incident but I was positive they were very kind people.

I had never really been in front of his fans.. at least not in person, but over the past few weeks I had been in a few of Sean's videos and his fans seemed to like me, there were a few people who disapproved but I was already expecting that. 

Sean was standing by the curtain watching the people take their seats, the main people he was looking for were his friends. I smiled and walked over to him, gently placing my hand on his back as I looked over his shoulder.

"They're right there. Second row, in the middle." I smiled pointing out Mark, Bob and Wade to him, he gave a sigh of relief. 

"I'm sorry Y/N, i'm just a nervous wreck. Mostly just because first panel by myself and all." He smiled as he turned back to me, gently resting his hands on my waist.

I smiled, gently resting my hands on his shoulders "You'll be fine Sean, you have your fans, your friends, and me all here to support you... We all believe in you Sean." I said gently cupping his face with my hands.

We locked eyes as he smiled at me and nodded, gently placing his hands over mine "I know.. and I couldn't ask for anything more, especially with you. I don't know what I'd do without you."

I shook my head gently "I can say the same to you.. I love you Sean." I smiled softly as my hands slid down to his chest.

He then kissed me gently and smiled pulling away moments later "I love you too." Sean said.

A stage hand then came up. "You're on in 5" They said as Sean nodded thanking them, I then peeked out of the curtain once more to see a full room. I looked back over to him and teased "I don't mean to alarm you Mr. McLoughlin but you have a full house." 

He then looked as well and sighed "Oh boy. Well the more people who know the better yeah?" He said as he closed the curtain one more looking over to me. I was surprised he wasn't nervous at all about telling his fans he was engaged. I nodded in agreement "I suppose so."

We talked for a few more moments until it was time for him to begin, music began playing as he ran out on the stage to be met by possibly the loudest crowd I've heard in my life. Everyone was standing while they were cheering, they were so excited to see him and it made me extremely happy to see that.

Sean took a few moments to talk to them, tell them everything he had planned for the panel wasn't much but was still quite interesting, he then took a few minutes just to talk to them, to connect with them. 

It was his idea to make the announcement at the beginning of the panel so that we weren't just dropping it on them at the end. Sean looked back over in my direction as I smiled at him, he smiled back and turned towards his fans.

"Now before we begin anything else, there's someone I have to introduce to you properly." He then looked over to me signaling for me to come out on stage, any nerves I didn't think existed.. well they existed. 

I walked out on stage with a nervous smile, I was basically paranoid that I'll get a back reaction but to my surprise they cheered, though they did already know who I was from his videos to be fair. 

"So! guys, this is Y/N!, Y/N these are them!" He said which made me laugh my nervous smile being replaced with a genuine one. "You have seen her in quite a few videos now, but she's here for a reason, So, Y/N and I.. have something to tell you guys."

I suppose some people already knew what was happening as a few people cheered before he could even say anything. He smiled and began talking again "Y/N and I.. are engaged!" 

The crowd was almost as loud as they were when Sean first walked on the stage, I was relieved to get such a positive reaction, I buried my face in the crook of Sean's neck to hide my blushing face from everyone, he wrapped his arm around me and the next thing I know Mark, Bob, and Wade were on stage as we all group hugged, which made the crowd get louder as if that was even possible. 

Moments later the group hug ended and I was finally able to properly speak to Bob and Wade for a moment, it didn't last long as they went back to their seats, I was ready to go backstage so Sean could do his Q&A until he gently grabbed my hand and smiled 

"Guys, Y/N's going to be staying out here for the Q&A feel free to ask her things" Another wave of cheers as Sean and I sat on chairs that were set up.

The very first question was from a girl, seemed to be around 15 at most, and her question was how we first met, Sean gave me the mic for me to answer and I smiled and shook my head. 

"Well, Sean and I were in college together, we stayed in touch for a while after he left then just sort of lost contact and he moved here. Well I moved here a while ago and we ran into each other at the shop and it just kinda.. happened" I smiled over to him and he was giving the brightest smile back.

The rest of the panel was questions about us or about his YouTube channel, it was fun and the signing afterwards was even more fun as I got to personally meet all types of fans he had, all of them complete sweethearts. 

Afterwards Sean and I went back to our hotel room, I was exhausted by the time we got there so we both took quick showers and got into bed. He wrapped his arm around me pulling me close to his chest as I smiled. "That went better than I could have ever hoped." He said softly, I nodded.

"I'm glad it did. I love you Sean." 

"I love you too, Y/N."

I am so sorry you guys have been waiting SO LONG for a new chapter! It's been almost a month! And I have no excuse for that! But a little announcement, this book will be ending soon. Sad news I know BUT I do have another JackSepticEye book I'm already planning out and I think you guys will enjoy it!
