Rebel Love Song (A Jinxx Love Story)

Chapter 2

"ALAINA MARTIN! GET YOUR LAZY ASS UP!" Mikey yelled at me. My eyes shot open, and I turned over to look at my alarm clock. I blinked in disbelief. It was already 2 in the afternoon.

"Shit," I mumbled.

"Yeah, that's right. Black Veil Brides are already here," he said and then walked away from my bunk. (We had started the journey to Indianapolis last night in our tour bus)

Again, I was fan girling. Until I looked in the mirror. I jumped up, grabbed my clothes (which, of course, consisted of a Black Veil Brides shirt) and ran to the bathroom to shower. In an hour, I was clean, my hair was straight, and I was fully clothed and had makeup on. I walked out to the "living room" part of the bus, and, sure enough, Black Veil Brides were sitting on my couch.

"Stay calm. Don't freak out." I kept thinking to myself. I just stood there and looked at them; my mouth hanging open in disbelief. They were really here. On MY tour bus. This is insane. I stared at them for about three minutes until someone noticed me. It was the quiet one, Jinxx, that noticed me first. He saw my expression and smiled, trying to hide a laugh. Then Andy looked over, and I composed my face. Gosh, was he gorgeous. He smiled his cute little smile and stood up. The rest of the band followed him. They walked over to me.

"Hey, I'm Andy Biersack," he said, then he noticed my shirt, "But, I assume you already knew that." He stuck out his hand and I shook it. He was even more attractive in person.

"Hey, I'm Alaina," I said, then dropped his hand.

"Hi Alaina, I'm Jinxx," Jinxx said as he waved at me. Then Jake and Ashley came up to me and shook my hand and introduced themselves. I noticed someone was missing.

"Wait, where is CC?" I asked.

Jinxx laughed. "He's getting food, of course," He said, as if I should have known that.

"Wow," I said. "I just... Wow. I can't believe you guys are really here. You guys were, and still are, my inspiration. Not just for this band, but for everything. You guys helped me through so much. And now you're here on my tour bus. This is just... wow," I just kept rambling on and on and they just kept smiling at me. "I'm sorry. I'm totally fan girling right now. I'll shut up," I said, embarrassed.

"No, no, it's fine. It's nice to hear someone say that we helped them. That's what we are here for," Jinxx said. He kept looking at me. But, I mean, I guess I could have forgotten to put pants on or something in my haste to get ready. I looked down. No, I had pants on. Hmm. He was still staring.

"And we like hearing how awesome we are, just to let you know. In case you ever just want to shower us with praise, just know that it's welcome," Andy said with a joking smile. Gosh, he was so cute.

Then CC walked in from the kitchen, followed by everyone from my band.

"There you are!" Jake shouted. Ashley got up to steal some of CC's food, but CC punched him and he sat back down. I laughed at how childishly cute they all were. Except Jinxx. He seemed pretty mature and laid back. But still cute. And he kept looking at me. I checked again to make sure I had pants on.

I sat down between Andy and Jinxx before everyone else could take all the seats. Jinxx looked at me and then stared in front of him. Andy stared at me for a few seconds and then asked me if I was excited for this tour.

"Yeah, but I'm more nervous. Any advice for us? This is our first big tour.."

"...No, I don't have any advice."

"Um.."

He started laughing. "I'm just kidding. Just be yourself. If you do that, then you'll do fine. It'll be a bit stressful and you'll be extremely nervous but just try hard."

Wow. I was so close to him. He was right next to me. He was so beautiful. I just wanted to kiss him and tell him how thankful I was. He and the rest of the band had saved me from doing something terrible to myself, and I would forever be thankful for that. I realized I had been staring at him for a full minute without saying anything.

"Oh gosh, I'm sorry. I kind of zoned out there for a second," I explained.

Sarah whispered something to Trevor. It sounded like "I think Alaina has a crush on someone."

I took my water bottle and threw it at her. It went a few inches beside her head and hit the wall. She jumped, but stuck her tongue out at me. "You missed," She said.

"Shut up."

"Hey, CC, can I have some of that--" Ashley began, still trying to steal some of CC's food.

"NO," he said. So Ashley stood up and asked if he could go get some food.

"Of course," I said. "Make yourselves at home, guys. What's ours is yours. I mean, I practically owe you guys everything. So take whatever you want."

"Yeah, like, I bet she wouldn't mind if you took her V card," Sarah said as she laughed.

"Can I have your water bottle, Andy?" I asked. He handed it to me and I threw it at Sarah's face. She blocked it with her hand, but it still hit her pretty hard. Mikey snickered, but Trevor looked awkward and out of place. I knew he didn't like Black Veil Brides, but he didn't have to feel so weird in his own place. And he didn't have to be so rude. I looked at him and he looked at me.

"What's wrong?" I mouthed. He shrugged. Then he went to his bunk. Hmm. That's weird. I looked over towards the kitchen, which meant I had to look at Jinxx, because the kitchen was next to where he was sitting, and sure enough, he was staring at me.

"I'm sorry about Trevor... He's.. um.. not your biggest fan," I said.

"Yeah but I don't know why. You guys are awesome," Mikey said. Sarah nodded in agreement.

"It's okay, we understand that people don't like us. It's okay. He just doesn't like our music. Maybe he'll like us as people," Jinxx said with a smile. His smile was really cute. I returned the smile, and I think I saw him blush under all of his makeup.

"Well, I think we need to get going. Show starts in a few hours, we need to go finish getting ready and get the stage set up. It was really nice to meet all you guys," Jake said. They all stood and we said our goodbyes. Jinxx looked at me one more time before leaving the bus.

"Did anyone else notice that Jinxx kept staring at Alaina?" Sarah said with a smile. I mock-punched her arm and told her to shut up.

Wow. I had just met my favorite band of all time, and apparently, according to Sarah, one of the members had a thing for me.
