Oh God, this can't be good... I thought to myself. The look on Trevor's face... I knew this was going to end badly. I looked at Alaina, who had a scared look on her face.

"So..." Trevor began. He cleared his throat and looked around nervously. His eyes locked with mine and I could see anger in them.. What?

"I am quitting the band," he blurted out and I saw Alaina's face fall as his words sunk in. Alex just shook his head and Mikey glared at Trevor.

"Why?" Mikey asked sternly. When Trevor didn't answer, Mikey shouted "WHY?" which made everyone, including me, jump.

"I just... I can't... do this anymore," he said, and his eyes flickered to Alaina. "I'm gonna go pack my stuff now, guys. I'm really sorry... Oh wait!" he said as he perked up. "Don't worry, I didn't leave you guys without a new drummer. In fact, you'll love him. Well, you already do. It's Ralph."

Alaina looked at him with a confused expression. "Ralph doesn't know how to play drums, that's why he's our tour manager, not our drummer," she spat at him.

"Well he's been learning... I've been thinking about this for a long time. Sarah and I had been talking about quitting, but then she just left... And now is my time to go, too. I'm sorry. But Ralph will be moved in here in a week. I'm sorry," he said as he got up to go to his room to begin to pack his things.

"Well at least he didn't leave us with nothing," Alex said. I agreed with him, and so did Mikey, but Alaina was still pissed.

"Are you okay?" I whispered to her.

She shook her head yes, but I could see the tears in her eyes. I hugged her tight, and she sobbed into my shirt. "I feel like everything is going to fall apart," she said. "Sarah left, now Trevor... What if... What if you leave me, next?" she whispered the last part, trying to hold back sobs.

"Alaina Martin," I said sternly. She looked up at me. "I will never leave you, do you understand me? I love you Alaina. You don't ever have to worry about me leaving you. Okay?" She smiled and shook her head yes. I smiled and hugged her some more. Where would she even get an idea like that?

I pulled away from her. "Where are you going?" she asked.

"To go get you something to cheer you up," I said with a wink. She smiled as I walked out the door.

Mikey started to say something, but I shut the door before I could comprehend what he had said.

ALAINA POV

Jinxx walked out the door after telling me that he was going to get me something to cheer me up.

"Condoms?" Mikey asked. I punched him in the shoulder. "Oh, oops, I'm sorry, I forgot.."

"Just shut up!" I yelled as I went to my room.

Trevor barged in a few seconds later. "You did not seriously do what I think you did, did you?" he said with pure rage in his eyes. I flinched back. Shit, thank you Mikey.

"Um.. no.." I mumbled.

His nostrils flared as he took a step towards me. For a crazy second, I thought he was going to hit me, but he did something as equally crazy. He pressed his lips to mine for a quick second, and then pulled away. "You want to know why I'm quitting the band? Because I love you, Alaina. And I can't stand to sit here and watch you love him. So I decided to leave. I'm sorry," he spat as he walked out, leaving me standing there, dumbfounded.
