Rebel Love Song (A Jinxx Love Story)

Chapter 30

I couldn't speak. This was just too insane. He looked at me with extreme nervousness in his eyes, but I couldn't bring myself to talk or move. He stared at me, and after a few seconds, I came out of my stupor and I vigorously shook my head yes. "Of course I'll marry you, Jeremy Miles Ferguson. I love you so much, too," I said as he jumped up and grabbed me. He spun me around in a hug, and then the rest of the band came onto the stage. They started playing Rebel Love Song. I cried tears of joy as Jinxx and I spun around to the music.

After the song was over, the boys came down and said congrats and we hung out for a bit, and then they left to go back home, and Jinxx and I went to the hotel.

During the vacation, we decided the date--June 21--, colors--red and black--, and the guest list. Then, we headed back to the BVB house.

We returned to the BVB house two weeks before I had to go back home. Juliet Simms, Andy's girlfriend, had moved into their house with them by the time we got back. They were so cute together.

I called my band to let them know what was going on, but they told me that Jinxx had already told them he was going to propose. They told me to just stay there until everything was ready, so I decided to stay until BVB had to go on a tour. It was a very small tour, so they'd only be gone for about a month, get back in early May (they'd be leaving in the middle of March) and then wedding would be the month after that.

When all of the boys were gone one day at the studio to record a new song, I decided to take advantage of that time to talk to Juliet.

"Hey, Juliet," I mumbled.

"Hey, Alaina," she smiled. "How are you?"

"I'm great," I beamed. "I was wondering if you would help me.. with the wedding stuff?"

"Of course, love!" she said.

"And I'll help you with yours," I winked.

She rolled her eyes. "If that ever happens," she smiled.

And then Juliet practically took over the wedding stuff. She booked the place, which was at this cute little place with a bridge that went out to a little island of the middle of a cute little lake. There was a waterfall behind that. She sent out the invites, and everything. I asked her to be my maid of honor and she quickly agreed. I smiled as I thought of how close we had gotten lately.

I called Sarah one day to see if she would be a bridesmaid. Jake's girlfriend, who I had gotten pretty close to lately, was another one, and so was Jinxx's little sister. Alex's sister was the flower girl. The guys from our bands were the Best Men. (We couldn't choose just one, so we decided to make them all a Best Man, therefore calling them the Best Men). While the boys were on tour, Juliet, Sarah, Ella (Jake's girlfriend), Jenny (Jinxx's sister) and Jamie (Alex's sister) got together and picked out our dressess.

We walked into the bridal gown store and I looked around at all the white dresses. Ew.

Juliet went up to the counter. "We have an appointment for Alaina Martin," she told the middle aged woman at the desk. She smiled and said someone would be right there to help us.

A young girl with blue hair and tattoos up one of her arms came to us. I laughed as I guessed that the lady at the desk must have specially picked this girl to help us. "Hi there, I'm Anna. I'm gonna start by asking some questions. First, who is the bride?"

Everyone pointed at me, and I smiled hugely.

"Alright, and the maid of honor?" Anna asked as she jotted words down on her paper. I pointed to Juliet, and then Anna asked if everyone else were bridesmaids.

"Everyone except this little one right here. Jamie is the flower girl," I said as I put my arm on her shoulder.

"Alright, and what colors were you looking for?"

"Not white," I said and everyone laughed.

"I didn't think so," Anna smiled.

"The colors for the wedding are red and black... but what I was thinking was this; the maid of honor should wear red, the bridesmaids should wear black, I should wear black and red, and Jamie should wear white, just to lighten everything up," I said.

"That sounds great... I'm not sure what we have in those colors, though, but I'll go check," Anna said as she wrote something on her paper and then went to the back. She came back a few minutes later. "We only have two red and black dresses..." she said as she handed them to me. I looked at them. The one on top was definitely not the one. It was tight all the way down to my knees, and then the bottom was black while the top was red. No.

When I picked up the second one, my heart stopped. This was the one.

It was mostly red, tight down to my thighs, and then it ruffled out, with a patch of black in the ruffles, and a rose came between the red and black. Then the bottom was made of red tulle with a black strip connecting the ruffles to the tulle. The tight red part at the top had black rose designs wrapping around. Then the very top part, that would cover my chest, was black. The dress was so perfect for me, I almost started crying.

The black roses were just a coincidence, but I thought it was kind of cool that I could incoorporate both of our bands in the wedding (Black Rose and Black Veil Brides. I was wearing black roses and a black veil.)

"This is it. This is the one," I told Anna.

It's not over yet! but all that's left is picking out the rest of their dresses, then Jinxx and Alaina will go pick out the cake when he gets back, and then it'll be overrrr.
