"ONE MONTHS DETENTION!" our principle yelled. "FOR BOTH OF YOU!"

"See look what you've done!" Luke groaned at me, turning his head from his seat in his chair, giving a harsh glare.

"Me?! You dumped fucking spaghetti all over me!" I said flicking some sauce off my jacket, eyeing Luke carefully.

"I WOULDNT HAVE DONE THAT IF YOU DIDN'T FILL MY LOCKER WITH ROTTEN MILK AND EGGS!" he raised his voice, scoffing.

"ONLY BECAUSE YOU SABOTAGED MY DATE WITH JAKE!" I retaliated.

"Well if you didn't-" Luke began.

"ENOUGH!" the principle silenced us. "You are responsible for causing the food fight in the cafeteria am I correct?" and we nodded. "Well then, you'll spend half an hour after school, here with me, on Monday and Thursdays, then you are to help Stacey set up the Fall Dance at lunch time until the dance!" he yelled.

"But sir I have photography club on-"

"Oh and you'll clean up the mess you made today!" he added. "That's for your use of foul language Miss Green,"

"But sir-" Luke chimed in.

"GET OUT BEFORE I SUSPEND YOU BOTH!!" he ordered.

"Yes Mr Pendanski," Luke and I said in sync.

We went out through the door and into the hallways, I picked up more spaghetti and flung it to his head, "Well done Mr Brooks," I muttered.

"This is your fault Al!" Luke turned to me.

"Never call me Al," I snapped, furrowing my eyebrows

"Well you started it!" Luke threw his hands in the air, biting back a smile.

"No, if I remember correctly-" I began, raising my eyebrows.

"Erm Ally?" my friend Jo tapped my shoulder. I whipped my head around to see my blonde haired best friend clutching her files closely, looking around the crowd

"What?" I snapped, soon regretting it after seeing her flinch,

"People are staring and it's time for lessons," Jo said quietly and ducked her head down.

I turned back to Luke folding my arms. "You're such a prick!" I cursed.

"And you're a bitch," then he went off to the boy's room to clean up..

"Jesus, Al, you stink of tomatoes." Jo cringed as I met up with her after backing away from Luke.

"Luke dumped his lunch on me today," I shook some pasta off and tried to fix my hair

"I think I have a spare shirt and leggings in my gym bag?" Jo offered sympathetically

"This is why your my best friend," I smiled and followed after

"So are you going to the Bowling Alley tonight, hehe Ally, the whole of our grade is going because it's a Friday," Jo asked as we walked out of maths.

"Dammit I can't, I have stupid detention," I sighed.

"But it's Thursday! The Bowling Alley has it's best nights, they open the bar, half price for food, buy one get one on the games-" she listed.

"Sorry, blame Luke," I sighed, pulling out my phone

"Well, I'll Facetime you later tonight then yeah?" she asked and I nodded.
