Chapter 21 - Rumours?

Once again it was Monday. Luke did spend the night but eventually he had to go back home next door to get ready for school. I really fucking hate Mondays its always a struggle. Especially when you need to piss.

"Allison are you up yet?" I heard my mum call when I was brushing my teeth I let out an 'mmhm' and quickly got dressed.

I didn't bother with breakfast although usually pregnant people have a massive appetite.

Beau showed up at nearly half past and I noticed Luke and Jai already inside leaving the front passenger seat open.

"How comes Luke and Jai are early to school?" I asked strapping in my belt.

"Well Jai joined Varsity Football and you and Like have detention in the morning aswell remember?" Beau sighed. "Do I always have to remind you about your schedules?"

I chuckled.

"I think we're almost about done!" Stacey clapped looking at the scene. "When should we sell the tickets?"

"Maybe put up a notice in the principals assembly notes that tickets go on dale this Friday?" Luke suggested.

The rest of the morning we just carried on making the place look nice.

Several heels tapped the floor as Brittany and her people came in. "I see the progress." She said. "Maybe instead of the cheap silk curtains we could bring in velvet embroidered ones that are blue, they really bring out my eyes. Oh and the throne has to be on the stage with any lighting except fluorescent because it makes my skin look like a fucking vampire from Twilight."

"Excuse you?" I said.

"I'm just listing a few things to improve the dance." She shrugged.

"Oh and a chocolate fountain." One of her 'friends' added.

"Only organic fair trade milk chocolate." Brittany smiled.

"Brit, thanks to some bitch we don't have that kind of money." Stacey said quietly.

"Brittany just bitch off to your friends." I snapped.

"Fine. But you better make sure I win." She flipped her bleached hair.

"I hope Ebola crawls into your tiny bra." Luke sniggers as I swat him.

I walked out of second period with no problem until people began to stare at me. Jo followed behind me. "What's happening this time?" She asked.

"I don't actually know." I answered looking around.

We lingered the hallways for a bit more until I was approached by a sophomore. "Allison?"

"Ally." I corrected.

"I'm Jayne. My mum had me as a teen, she went to this teenage pregnancy support group, I could get you a leaflet if you'd like?" She asked shyly.

What?

"I'm sorry what?" I asked.

"You're pregnant." She stated.

"What?" I glanced around the halls.

Someone had printed black and white photos of me and Harry entering the maternity wards.

"Fuck no oh my god." I cursed ripping down the ones on the hall.

"Who'd do this?" Jo asked looking at one.

"Fucking hell whoever started the rumour is going to get it." I stomped throwing the pictures on the floor followed by the sound of laughter that left the peoples mouths.

Lunch rolled around again and I was once again stared at.

I quickly rushed to our table. "Hey Ally, um why are there posters of you - "

"Shut up, Jai." I hissed furiously, digging into my pasta

"Sorry I didn't know it was your time of the month." Jai mumbled.

"Sorry, its just I'm a bit irritated, I don't even know how they found out." I ran my fingers through my hair.

"So how was the appointment?" Luke asked.

"Luke shut up!" I groaned. "I don't want people believing the rumours and if you're going around flaunting those kind of questions around they're going to think its true."

"Well it is." Jai muttered.

"Ugh." I groaned before standing up and walking away again.

The next week I was dye to have my next appointment. "Hello again Miss Green."

I smiled and sat in the long doctors chair. "We're just going to take some blood from the father and you to see any diseases or past ones that could have or will affect the baby in the future." She slapped on the familiar gloves.

I closed my eyes and she jabbed the cold metal needle into me. It felt like a sharp cat scratch and left a bruise sort if sensation behind.

She put it into a box and did the same to Harry. "If you don't mind waiting it'll be only half an hour until results."

The nurse left with the samples and me and Harry were alone again. "Sorry about making you think I didn't want the baby." I blurted.

"Its okay." He answered. "But do you?"

"I don't know. But I don't want to get rid of it either, I don't really have a motive to keep me positive about keeping it." I sighed.

"Well, if you don't want it, I'm happy to take it, I've already finished school anyways, I have a house and stable money, I could take care of it until you're on your feet?"

I widened my eyes. "You would?"

"Yeah." He smiled

The nurse came back after what had seemed like ages. "So?" Harry said.

"Well the results are fine, we've looked into the baby's blood , there won't be any diseases so thats good. But."

But oh there's always a but...

"What?" I asked.

"There's some strange results."
