Chapter 26 - Fall Dance

I smoothened my dress my mum gave me and let my hair fall from the high ponytail it was in. I popped in my eye contacts and drew in my eyebrows so they actually look like eyebrows. I applied heavy mascara and light eye shadow but also pencil eyeliner on my bottom lid so make my eyes darker. I applied red lipstick to my lips and put on my high cut black converse.

"Well isn't my Ally all grown up!" I heard dad sat at the door.

"Dad stop." I groaned.

"No snoodling with any boys okay?" He said.

I froze. "Er yeah right, actually I have something to - " but I was interrupted by my dads phone going off. "Two seconds honey."

I sighed and turned back to my mirror. "Allison Rose wow."

I turned to see my brother. "Liam you're back!"

I ran and gave him a hug. "You're finished college for the year?"

"Yup, completed my first year." He said hugging me back.

"Why are you wearing converse to a formal dance?" Liam chuckled.

"I don't own heels." I said sheepishly. "And even if, I can't walk in them, I look like a penguin."

"You seem a bit tense, what's wrong?"

"Liam. Don't tell dad this but," I brought him closer. "I'm pregnant."

"God dammit Ally." He let go off me as if I was a disease.

"I swear it was an accident - " I tried, I tried so hard not to let tears slip because of his yelling.

"You're so irresponsible!" Liam chuckled in disappointment. "What did mum say?"

"Well she reacted a little calmer than - "

"Dad?"

"Haven't told him - "

"For fuck sake." He cursed.

"Would you let me finish!" I yelled. "Look, I regret it so much. And it I could turn back time to that night I would have stopped myself. It is the biggest mistake I've ever made okay? Are you happy?"

My breathing stopped when someone appeared at the door. "Luke?" I breathed.

"Was it all a mistake?" Luke said with Burt in his voice.

"No I didn't mean it like that its just - " I felt so bad.

"I'm going home, Ally you look nice, have fun at the dance by yourself." He scoffed.

Liam stared between the two of us. "Wait, you're the father of the child?"

Luke nodded. "You fucking manwhore!"

Liam threw an unexpected punch at Luke. "What the fuck Liam?!" I shrieked.

Liam scrunched up Luke's shirt and held him up. "Liam put him the fuck down!"

I pushed Liam off of Luke. "Leave." I barked at Liam.

I quickly ran to my en suite to grab tissue for Luke's bleeding nose.

"I am so sorry." I said as I dabbed it on his nose. "Liam just gets a bit over protective."

"Its um, okay." Luke mumbled.

I continued to clean him up. "Did you mean what you said to him earlier, about the baby being a mistake?"

"No, no baby is a mistake, just the night was, it was irresponsible for both of us. No human being is a mistake, even if someone tells you that." I explained. "I didn't mean it like that, it was just Liam was agitating me."
