45 days and counting. 45 days till the Fall Dance.

It was morning now at the Brooks' resort and we'd just woken up, Beau, after I forced him, made us all pancakes and maple syrup.

I was bored sitting there just watching Daniel and Jai competing to eat as many pancakes as possible, when I heard a slam at the door.

I walked down the hallway to Jai and Luke's room. I knocked and before even letting him answer I opened the door to see a horrifying sight.

"Ally!" Luke squealed. He pushed off the topless, and very topless, girl on him leaving her under the covers.

"Oh my god." I loudly muttered before closing my eyes and scattering out the door.

I ran back into the living room

"Luke awake yet?" Beau asks me.

"Er, yeah," I answer awkwardly.

"He coming out?" Jai questioned.

"Erm, I don't think so, he's got company over." I said.

"Shit I didn't think that would be today," I heard Daniel mutter.

"What? You knew a girl was coming over?" I said surprised. Who invites someone before school? "Never mind I don't care, I have to be at the auditorium by 8:15 to meet Stacey," I sigh remembering.

I finished the last bite of my pancake and grabbed my bag before heading to school.

-

I was sitting bored at a chair while Stacey rambled on about something like fluorescent lights or some shit.

Luke arrived half an hour late.

"Luke its quarter to nine!" I half whispered half yelled. "You made me listen to Stacey all by herself!"

"Sorry jeez," he scoffed before sitting next to me.

Was he having sex with that girl? I don't think she went to our school, nor do I recognize her, did Luke just pick her up from the streets?! Is Luke a prostitute?!-

My thoughts were interrupted. "Ally, Stacey was asking about a theme,"

I shook my head vigorously, "what? Huh, oh." I paused. "I was thinking about a masquerade ball?"

"Hmmm, masquerade, not too expensive, we could probably make the masks, its unique and totally suitable!" Stacey weighed her pointless thoughts. "Masquerade it is!"

-

First lesson was History.

I began to look for Jo, who was saving my seat at the back of the classroom.

"You look surprisingly happy," she said.

"This is the only lesson I don't have with Luke," I chuckle.

"Er think twice," she nods her head at the door.

"Miss Jones, is this Honours History?" Luke asked, smirking and glaring at me.
