Jughead POV:

I was stunned. I didn't know what to do so I wrapped Betty in my arms. "Its okay, you'll be okay," I promised to her. We sat in each others embrace for a while until I decided it was getting late. "Lets head home. It's getting late." She nodded as I stood up and she wiped her eyes. We made our way to the car and started to head back to my trailer. "W-whens your first doctors' appointment," I asked trying to make conversation. "Uh, next week I think," She said staring at her hands.

The rest of the ride was silent. When we got back into the trailer I took Betty's hands in mine. "Betty I want you to know that I'm always going to be here for you. We're going to get through this together." She stared back at me her beautiful green eyes starting to glisten with tears. She looked as if she was about to speak but instead, she nodded and wrapped her arms around me. I wrapped my arms around her as well and whispered sweet promises into her ear. We stayed like this for a while until I decided it was time for Betty to get some rest. I guided her to the bedroom as I could tell she was half asleep. Her eyes were half closed and she was stumbling over her own feet. I was so exhausted I didn't want to change into pajamas, so I didn't. I laid down in my bed, placing Betty carefully next to me and slowly fell into sleep.

I woke up next to Betty as we had fallen asleep. I turned to look at my beautiful blonde who has been through so much. There was so much that I couldn't shield her from. Things that were coming at her from all angles and I was only a flimsy deterrent. Her chest rose and fell with her hair falling over her face. I pushed the hairs that had strayed behind her ear and admired her features.

I smiled and decided to make her breakfast. Yesterday had been stress-filled for both of us. I wanted her to have no worries today. A moment for her to relax before having to be confronted by the harsh reality of her situation. I started on scrambled eggs when Betty stumbled into the kitchen.

"Good morning sleepy," I said smiling. She only groaned which made me chuckle. I turned back to the pan and finished up making the eggs. I grabbed two plates and piled eggs on each. I concentrated most of the eggs on Betty's plate. She may be small but she can be scary when she's hungry.

"Thanks," She said as I placed the food in front of her, along with a fork. She immediately dug in.

"What do you want to do today?" I asked as if I didn't already have a complete plan in the works. She shrugged.

"I didn't really have any plans."

"Good because I do." She laughed. I missed her laugh. I was going to make sure that she has the best day ever.

AN: Hey guys, it's been a while. I'm really sorry for abandoning this book, but I'm back to finish it. This chapter was written a while ago and my writing has gotten better since then. I'm sorry, this chapter is bad. The next ones will be better.
