"[Y/N] wake up!" Your mom called.

"Ugh..." You groaned as you heard the scream. "Why do I have to get up?" You screamed back.

"You have an eye doctor appointment today!" Your mom screamed.

"Oh shit." You mumbled to yourself as you sat up. Your eyesight has been so blurry lately and glasses wouldn't help. So You were going to see about getting stronger glasses.

As You were putting your shirt on your mom barged in. "Come on, [Y/N] the appointment is at ten. It's nine-thirty. You overslept." Your mother said crossing her arms.

"I must've needed it." You said sarcastically.

As soon as You got dressed and combed your hair, it was time to leave. Once You got to Dr. Nicks office, Your stomach was in pain from being nervous. It was a fifteen minute wait but then you were finally called back.

"Ah, [Y/N] nice to see you again." Dr. Nick said.

"Yeah." You weren't happy to be there.

"What is wrong?  You don't like your eye doctor?" Dr. Nick asked.

"Mainly it's because of sleep issues but yes. Don't take it personal though." You said.

"Why don't you like your eye doctor?"Dr. Nick asked.

"Because, I know my eyes aren't good." You say.

"Well, let's check!" Dr. Nick exclaimed.

After a series of tests, Dr. Nick finally reached a verdict. One that would shock everyone for a lifetime.

Mrs. Can I please talk to you in the hallway?" he asked.

Your mother followed him in the hallway and you heard a scream and some crying.

"Not my daughter!" You could hear your mom call out. "How could this happen?"

"Well, she hasn't wore her glasses in years and all the flashing lights from the concerts she says she's been too. Really damaging. Overtime her eyes will have enough.
