Just What You Needed- (Ben Orr X reader)

-chapter seven-

Tuesday. Your last day to fight this blind battle. That's if it worked of course. You were fidgety all day until lunch.

"Hey guys." You said as all five band members sat at your table.

"Hey girl." Ben said.

"David? Greg? What a surprise. You guys are never here." You say.

"Yeah we asked our teacher if we could come sit with you." David said.

"Wait so you two are in the same class? That's cool." You said.

"Yep." David said.

"Well, it's nice of you to join me. It's nice to have my favorite drum player and keyboard player here." You said.

"Aww.." Greg said.

"So how are all you guys today?" You asked.

"I'm great baby." Ben said.

"I'm good." Ric said.

"Same." Elliott said.

"I'm good how are you?" David asked.

"Yeah, [Y/N] How are you?" they all said in union.

You looked at them for a moment then you said. "To be honest.....I'm really worried. What if I lose my sight and you guys just ditch me? Ben, what if you fall out of love with me?"

"Babe....you don't have to worry. I won't fall out of love with you. I'll love you always." Ben said.

"Boy, you really are a Bon Jovi fan aren't you?" You chuckled.

"Sure am. But I'm your biggest fan." He said.

You blushed.

"We would never ever leave you [Y/N] You're our girl. Well, your Ben's but we share you." David said.

"He's true." Elliott added.

"Thanks guys." You said.

Inside You were loosing your mind. You knew once lunch was over you'd be sad again. The guys at least cared about you but you felt worthless. You wished you wore your glasses more, but truth is you were embarrassed. You didn't know why. Greg and Elliott wore them and they had no choice.

When lunch was over, You instantly felt lost, anxious, scared and alone. You had to survive the day the best you could. In the middle of 3rd period it just got worse.

You walked down to room 310 again. Ben was just sitting there bored. They had a substitute.

"Oh my gosh! Benny 11 letter's girlfriend is back!"

"Cool it." Ben snarled at the boy.

"Geez what has your undies twisted?" the boy asked.

"Nothing okay?" Ben snapped.

Ben opened the door for you. "Hey babe."

"Hey babe." You said.

"What's up?" Ben asked.

"I just needed to see you. Ya know before tomorrow." You said.

"I know babe. It's horrible. I'll see you after school though." Ben said.

"I know." You said.

"What's happening tomorrow Benny? You're gonna be away from your precious girlfriend?" the kid taunted.

"Listen here, my girlfriend needs me. Shut up before I make you leave the room." Ben said. He was really angry now.

"How are you going to make me leave?" the kid now got up in Ben's face.

"Listen, nobody and I mean NOBODY messes with my boyfriend. You can mess with me but not with him." You said.

Now the kid shut up. He was scared of You. Ben and You spent the class together and when it was over. It was over. One more period and school was over. One more hour closer to surgery. It made You sick thinking about it.

You were angry with that freaking kid in Ben's class. How could someone disrespect Your boyfriend like that? He was famous too somewhat. That kid almost really fought Ben. Thinking about it, You really couldn't believe it.

When you got home You wrote in Your diary.

"Dear past me, You probably can't read this now because your blind. Tomorrow you have surgery to correct it. It doesn't always work but you have to try. I wish You luck."

You shut the book and took a nap.

Author's note: sorry for the short chapter. I have a lot of homework tonight. I decided to end it on a cliffhanger for a reason. You'll see in the next chapter.
