Aera

It was Sunday, which meant no work. It also meant that I would be getting a tattoo. It meant I have to be extra careful around my parents and not pull my sleeves up ever again, not that I did it often anyway.

I took a deep breath and pressed Chan's doorbell.

It took at least a minute before Mrs Lee opened the door. She greets me with a warm smile and tells me to just go straight to Chan's room. It was weird that she was so casual. She wasn't her boss self like at work. Well, it is her home after all.

I give her a quick bow before heading up the stairs. When I get to Chan's door I didn't bother knocking and went straight in.

Five heads snap at my direction. It was obvious they were all talking before but they stopped and watch me walk in.

"Kitty!" Chan hops off his bed and comes over to greet me. He puts his arm over my shoulder and walked me to where the others were.

Song Nari was sitting on Chan's bed with a girl I had never seen before. Her lips were painted dark red colour and was sitting cross legged.

My eyes then make their way to the floor where Jihoon oppa was sitting. He was leaning against the wall, facing Chan's bed.

The last guy who I didn't recognise either was leaning against the wall too except her was standing.

I wondered if the handholds his back was resting on was hurting him.

Chan motions with his head to sit where he was sitting on the bed beside Song Nari.

I sit without saying a word and also sneaked a quick glance at Jihoon oppa. I was immediately embarrassed to see that he was hard out staring at me.

Chan just stands by the bed creating somewhat of a circle. "That's Choi Seungcheol," he points to the guy standing. "And that's Choi Sun," he then points to the red lipped girl. "They're twins."

I bow my heads a little to each of them, "nice to meet you. I'm Kang Aera."

"Call me Sunny," the girl says. Her lips form a closed smile.

I nod slowly then looked at her twin. I waited for him to say something but all he does is give me a lined smile. If you could even call it that.

"So you're getting a tattoo."

I look down at Jihoon oppa.

He had a grim look on his face. He didn't approve of this at all.

"I was surprised when she agreed too," Chan chimes in. "We're getting matching ones, isn't that right, Kitty?" He looks down at me with excitement written all over his face.

I couldn't help but grin back at him.

"Alright then," Choi Seungcheol peels his back off the wall. "Let's get started."

It hurt so much I felt like maybe I would faint. It was unbearable at times but in the end I felt the coolest I had ever felt in my life. I admired the fresh ink sewed into my flesh. The skin around it was all red but it was beautiful. I loved it already.

"Wow," Chan traces his finger over it lightly. He was in awe.

"Instead of having it on your back, maybe you should get it on your forearm too," I say. "You won't be able to see yours."

He shakes his head. "I want mine near my scar like yours. It'll be more special." He ruffles my hair.

"Y'all are cute." Choi Sun comments from the bed.
